Jeez, chill people. In my universe, the Apple event isn't over yet. Hard to believe they would end without Tim Cook coming back on stage one more time.

Indeed, that would certainly be hard to fathom.

Tell them to stop being clumsy then.

Phones are not supposed to be made of glass that is just a stupid design, the iphone is more about being flashy and pretty than practical. Everyone knows at least one or two people that needed to get their glass replaced on an iphone. And apple claims oh its super strong, yeah its so strong its fragile as glass.

Why would you ever make the back of the phone, you know the part you are always setting the phone down on made of glass? That is just asking for trouble

Steve Jobs to come out and announce the iPhone 5 soon? Anyone think this is possible? After the iPhone 4s(s is for ****** by the way)

Um, really, it's not. Maybe if you're in 8th grade and you want to show off to the girl sitting next to you. To others, it's gimmicky. You say a key word, then it will show you what you said. There is nothing "intelligent" about this.

You don't think saying "Wake me up at 6 AM" and having it instantly set and activate the alarm for 6 AM is impressive? Or that it remains aware of the context it is in, so it can do research on something for you or check your calendar for you before replying to a text message?

I don't think you understand what this is. It's not just voice macros.

Hmmm, like the screen is made out of glass? Which means if dropped on its front will achieve the same desired outcome? Or do you want a plastic touch screen?

Seriously, Siri looks impressive. It's the first voice control system that actually seems to "just work." It's like Ford Sync on steroids, everywhere.

If I could have made one suggestion to Tim Cook, it would have been to cut the first 40 minutes of rehash and just get right to it. If I could have made a second suggestion, it would have been to call it iPhone 5 anyway. Make it apparent that it's what's inside that matters.

Oh wow they linked a physical button to the shutter release. How 2005 of them.

And yet folks wanted it so badly that they were jail breaking for it. So either Apple gives in and gives them what they want or they have to deal with turning away folks for tech support over the whole "you messed with your software so you voided the warranty" which many folks don't get and they start all kinds of screaming etc over it.

Sometimes it is better to just give in and give folks the free cases they are screaming for than to try to explain to them what the symbols really mean and how horrid their carrier's service in their area is.
