I am too excited!!! I need:
(1) A5 processor minimum
(2) 8MP Camera with Flash
(3) Increased RAM.

Then I will buy an iPhone! It's only been 4 years with my uPhone

i agree, but add a 64GB option to that list for me. and it'd be total win, anything else'd be nice, but not nessacary.
 
I think I will sync and backup my iPhone while I wait, in preparation for the iOS 5 GM. Goodness knows it'll finish right when the keynote starts.:rolleyes:

All I've been waiting for is the 64 gig upgrade. That's why I held out past the 4. I really hope that's part of this next generation. I've been waiting patiently like a 5 year old at christmas for the last 4 months going back and forth between walking into stores to buy an iPhone and walking out because I knew this day was coming.
 
Pretty much set that we are getting the 4S only. Still holding out hope for a new line called iPhone pro or something that will resemble what we thought was the 5 and maybe launches a few months from now.

I would like them to just drop all naming.

Have 3 tiers
iPhone cheapo
iPhone
iPhone pro

They have to do this sometime, or their current naming is going to have to get kinda dumb. iPhone 7 sounds dumb, or they could go the android route and have the iPhone 4g touch turbo flame powered thunder.
 
Inside the final hour, I haven't been this excited in years, got a feeling that something very very special is about to happen, forget the rumours what is going to be announced will be mindblowing
 
Please oh please let there be an iPhone 5.
Let Apple have been perfectly tight lipped and have hidden the phone from us. We need something special... not a simple 4S update.

But I feel that all we will see is the iOS5 software introduction, voice recognition software and the bumps in performance of the current iPhone 4. I hope I'm wrong but that seems like it's 'good enough' for Apple at this time.
 
Hmmm ... I wonder if we will break the macrumours site record for most users on line?? :p

Anyone like to speculate whether this assistant thing will work on an iPhone 4 or only the iPhone 4S? Also, has there been any idea as to when iOS 5 might be released?
 
Not expecting iPhone 5 at all, but very excited about software and other things at the event.
