Yeah this should really accelerate the adoption of usb-c in the marketplace.

Apple developed a fanless design........ sigh, no you didn't, Intel developed a chip that doesn't require a fan to run!

Anyway, a 2k screen isn't revolutionary either. Meh the Surface Pro is more innovative I think. And why not bluetooth 4.1?

And I see you'll have a bag full of adapters then for your new laptop.

The Core-M is totally gutless though, that's my biggest gripe. The reviews of this processor series has been terrible.

My only complaint about USB-C is that magsafe appears to be gone. Having a hyper 7 year old, a cable that pops off is a life-safer. lol

No headphone jack is a major letdown. That would be the only reason I'd skip this one. I hope they don't do that for their Pro notebooks.

USB-C. Apple and other companies have created new industry standard.

I think Philly is a bit weak on the definition of industry standard.

At least it looks like they finally gave up on the last industry standard they tried to create, no thunderbolt port is probably the best thing about the machine.

Sooo... what do I do when I'm doing file transfers to an external, and my battery life is dying?

I was thinking that myself, but I guess Apple and others will have usb-c hubs (or docking station equivalents) that can charge and, well, act as hubs. Not elegant though.
