No headphone jack is a major letdown. That would be the only reason I'd skip this one. I hope they don't do that for their Pro notebooks.

Was legitimately ready to buy this thing, and I don't even need a new laptop, until I realized there is no headphone jack.

Yeah, that is a baffling omission. They commented that you see Apple laptops everywhere. This is true, but I what I also see are people wearing headphones plugged into their laptops.

EDIT: OK, it wasn't omitted. Good.

Who DOESN"T need to plug in? The drives are so small now, we have to have external drives.

My problem with that is. Currently, I've got a Thunderbolt Display and I'm charging my MacBook.

What would I do? Unless there's some sort of adaptor.

So, they made the 13" faster and they changed the trackpad? Not really worth the upgrade.
