There's gotta be a way to feedback Tim to get this guy off stage, spam tweets or something.

Yeah this guys cool. I'm glad they gave some time to a real guy, regardless of whether he looks like a model.

Anyway, he has a wife, so he's not THAT geeky.

But the key to success is making this fashionable. I thought Apple would have had more fashion people there, even if they had to pay them.

Apple always has these dull sections. They used to do it for iWork. No idea why, just let us play!

Pretty much everything you can do on the watch seems more complicated and frustrating than just using the iPhone. Being linked to the iPhone all the time makes it even more ridiculous. The first major Apple product I've seen as just a toy.

We have had some awesome post-Jobs keynotes , yet this one is starting to feel a bit historic Micro$oft. I am saddened to have to agree with a few other commenters that this just isn't working for me.

I get that the Apple watch is his baby, he is likely an awesome engineer, and really creative, however this is making the watch really less interesting for me.

it's not a reinvention. It's a refinement. I don't really care what they had to do to achieve it (although I do, but the general public wouldn't). The functionality is pretty much the same. It's a just another laptop that does things every other laptop can do. The Air is already small enough.

I was hoping they would add touchscreen to this like the Dell 13 has.

The fact that they think millions are going to spend 500-800 dollars on this thing is amazing to me..

I think they are overestimating the pull of their brand. I love Apple products, but I'm not stupid. You could buy a notebook computer for the price of this thing.

This all seems like a real big mistake to me.

I'm feeling like it is a product that was designed in response to the rumors that had been going around for years, and Apple deciding that they had to make something.

A bit too much price for my taste.
When its converted in euros.

But, thumbs up for great technology.

The Apple watch is such a gimmick. I can't see how anyone can use this to read email or send texts or whatever... People cant seriously be that lazy. If you want to tell the time and date get a normal watch. Want to respond to an email or text? Take out your iPhone.

It's just such a compromised form to carry out these functions because the form of a watch is the way it is as it's been refined for telling the time, little else.

The form of the phone has changed substantially to allow these functions to be more effective. That can't really happen with a watch and I'd suggest that most of these functions are actually more cumbersome to do with a watch than via an iPhone.

I just can't see where this is going once we get beyond the fashion novelty value of a $7000 gold Apple watch?

More convinced than ever the watch is going to be the biggest bomb ever in the history of modern tech.

Before this keynote I didn't think I would buy this watch.

Now I KNOW I won't.

Cheers Apple, you've saved me several hundred pounds.

Not at all. Why not read up on what has happened with stolen credit card info and Apple Pay? :)

That's not an issue with Apple Pay. It's an issue with banks not putting in place proper procedures to verify card data. It's no different from if someone stole your number and created a fake card.
