All joking aside, this watch part is beyond lame. It's like they are getting golf claps from the audience.

Cue another Ivy video to swoon the unwashed masses.......

Edit.... Not enough swooning.

Cue a SECOND Ivy video about steel.

To be honest, I love these videos where they show you how they craft the material and such. I like them more than their usual "we are changing the world" videos.

They could have shortened the demo, crammed in the other announcements, and easily cut 30 minutes from this.

I'm feeling like it is a product that was designed in response to the rumors that had been going around for years, and Apple deciding that they had to make something.

Completely agree. It seems like a reaction to the strong whispers they weren't innovating..

They rushed to release something that is ineffective, and will not be revolutionary. I still don't understand why they didn't just wait it out and release something when it was ready. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how long it takes really, as long as what is finally released is a revolutionary product.

I like Tim Cook, actually. Really smart guy. But some of the decisions that have been made, this watch, Beats Acquisition, overpriced Burberry CEO.. Not good.

That's been the biggest surprise for me so far, I was expecting them to really be pushing it as a fashion device, but they aren't.
Yea, never heard of someone requesting a second iPhone with shrunken interface. No idea what purpose the Apple Watch serves.

so no security with apply pay?

Not it has same security. You enter a passcode when you pair your watch to your wrist in the morning. If you take the watch off your wrist, then you have to enter the passcode again to use it.
