Looks like I am going Al if I decide to get one, though I think I will keep my $$$, get a new MacBook, and await the 2nd generation to get a feel for the upgrade cycle on these.

It is tempting, but not enough to dump in $600 + for the model I really want.

I am hoping there are lots of aftermarket band options available. The Watch bands seem like the modern equivalent of Apple Memory back in the PowerPC era, with regards to pricing. Though, I am sure they are beautiful...

We may be witnessing that turning point we were all afraid of with Apple...

I am fearing that. Unlike many others who have been running around like the sky is falling, I think almost all of the current hardware/software is pretty darn good. However, I think the watch is a mistake.

The highlight of this keynote was research kit, at least for me. That more than anything else they featured today will going to shake things up.

Will people really go for an Apple Watch Edition over an Omega Seamaster?

I doubt it, the trouble with an expensive smartwatch over a traditional premium watch is that the smartwatch will become obsolete and therefore devalued.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, it cant end yet :(

No Canadian Apply Pay Announced.

It's up to the Apple loyalists to make this a success. This was a lame Keynote. The audience sure didn't have the enthusiasm today that they did at the original announcement.

I was watching expecting Apple to do the typical Apple, and just show something that would change the segment. Something unique and refined to the point where I 'd say "huh, didnt see that coming"

but so far, this was a fairly dissapointing keynote.

going to be very interesting to see what the response to this is.

Yet they really didn't push them as fashion items in this keynote.

Really? They didn't? Tim said that these will be in limited quantities and they will be sold in "select" fashion stores around the world.

Could he be more clear about that?
