Exactly, makes no sense! (no sense for a consumer, makes lots of sense for Apple=$$)

different sizes serve different use cases. some people want small, some people want big.

isnt more choice want people are screaming about in iphone sizes?

Not exactly impressed but not surprised. They gave people what they wanted pretty much all around but at extreme prices to keep their profit margins soaring. Investors are not that happy either (down 7 atm) haha.

Shouldn't it be the iPad 4 for $399 now? What the heck are they doing still selling the iPad 2 for that ridiculous price point? Does the iPad 2 have any updated hardware? That's a 2011 (2+ year-old) device... for $399.

Yeah, that was pretty ridiculous. In a normal world they woud have sold the previous iPad at $399 and lowered the iPad 2 to $299.

To me Air=11"+13" screens(smaller). Pro=13"+15"(bigger). I think if they renamed the iPad to iPad Pro it would have gotten a better reaction than Air, just look at everyone's reaction here on the forums. Everyone's confused.

Apple had 11" laptop before they introduced Air didn't they?

The whole iPad Air name change has all and everything to do with the fact Apple is likely to introduce a larger 12 inch iPad next year. It will probably start at $599 for 16GB version, I hope.

$80 for a slab of plastic. Considering you can get a smart keyboard cover from Logitech for the same that is some pretty effed up price gouging. Just... damn.

Please, investors will love this as they know people will continue to buy apple products. The only reason the stock is down is because it was so inflated in pre-market.

No new Apple Display with USB 3.0? Common, are you kidding me? I can't believe that thing is still priced at $999.
com·mon adjective \ˈkä-mən\
: belonging to or shared by two or more people or groups
: done by many people
: occurring or appearing frequently : not rare

"c'mon" or "come on" would be correct.

So when are we getting new Aperture? In December? They mention new Aperture, new Final Cut, they'll all come alongside Mac Pro?
