You can see why people despise Apple.

Fill the audience with a couple of hundred retail employees under the age of 20 to whoop at the highest starting prices ever for Cupertino-branded products.

It is basically a Hollywood abattoir with the pigs cheering on the rollout of the blades that will kill them.

I'm not so sure the new Mini will kill the value of the 2012. It will depend on how upgradeable it is. If the SSDs and RAM are soldered, the new Mini's reception could be quite cool.

I’m hoping their new Pro Workflow team said no to that nonsense. Musicians, coders, etc.. non of us want that and these guys seem to be serious. We’ll see.

This has got to be one of their best presentations in a long time. Wondering if it' because of the New Yorkers?

The new mini looks good, but if you only update it once in a blue moon everyone's bought something else by the time it comes out. I hope they keep it alive this time.

At least they didn't give the Air a Touch Bar.

So I'm guessing it has a smaller battery? So they can say "same 10 hour battery life" Which isn't true, as the battery life has been going down ever since the Air 1 in 2013.

The mini is suppose to stay quiet with the stuff you guys want in it they would have to attach a house fan to it.

Mac mini built for pros but with 128gb ssd and i3? Please. And only integrated graphics? They should check out what Zotec have in the mini PC space. But the ports are generous this time round.
I would have thought the MacBook Air features an esim, but I guess everyone has an iPhone for tethering.
So good to see the updates, but like the parts they’re made of, the ideas seem 100% recycled material.
