i think the phone is trying to be a SLR. in their own way. Not a bad thing, but their is a distance why u bring a fully fledged camera,

Software blur filter. They're attributing it to the two lenses but it doesn't require two lenses to achieve.

Seems like John Gruber's little birdie was right about Apple working on "dSLR-like" image quality. Pretty amazing that he nailed that rumor about two years ago. This depth map/bokeh stuff is incredible. Too bad it's not going to be available at launch—at least I assume not since they called this a "sneak peak." Interesting that they're showing stuff before it's ready. It's crazy that they can preview it in real-time.
