I still think the slogan on the invitation should have been:

"It's about time..."

Time is not important for a smart watch. It will be more likely a health/workout device. I guess the new building is a gym to test out iWatch.

The article isn't criticizing Apple, quite the opposite. It's a caution to those fans who expect too much too soon, and miss the revolution happening over several iterations.

Well, I was sort of disappointed with the iPad announcement, but Apple knew what they were doing.

Whatever they do today, they must have painstakingly thought about.

They have so many resources now, moreso than ever before, and it's difficult for me to see them messing this up, considering how many eyes they have.

It's a temporary structure designed to emulate a small shopping mall of boutiques.

This is why the fashion industry is there. For the fashionable wearables that can be purchased via NFC.

And judging by the twitter feeds Marie Claire the company is there as a special guest.

It contains a supercomputer cluster replicating Jobs's brain like in Transcendence. It's based on IBM Watson tech which is why they're getting involved with IBM. For only $10 million you can have your own iCEO.

Apple will reveal the missing MH370 in the big white box outside of Flint Center. No other explanation for this incredible, nuclear powered, never before seen, immense, unapologetic hype.

I hope the hype train doesn't crash because not only people onboard will get severely injured, so will Apple.

Since Anna Wintour is at the event, what if the big white box is actually a fashion show? No way is she going to leave NY during fashion week just to see a smartwatch.

Omgggggg. I can't believe all these celebrities. I mean, seriously, how amazing can this iWatch be? I don't see the likes of Stephen Fry being impressed with some electronic watch...

You mean it's how Apple survives by sucking everyone dry (wallet) with each slight iteration :D

It’s time to play…Apple Keynote Bingo!

With all of these prominent celebrities, musicians, and journalists invited -- not to mention insider reports of Jony Ive's bragging -- Apple must be supremely confident that this iWatch will be a big game-changer. If it's a dud, the overhype (in this case by Apple itself) will have been unprecedented.
