I have a strong feeling I'm going to be feeling very disappointed three hours from now. There's no way the iWatch is going to be that exciting in its first generation model. Apple is going to sell only flagship phablets instead of actual flagship phones, and I doubt we'll see new iPads today which is my only likely Apple purchase this fall.

I'll still be watching the video live, and hope I'm wrong.

Apple has let the hype build huge without controlled leaks, even bring it on with bold statements, so they have either done it again, or they are living in an alternate reality and will soon get a slap in the face. Since history has a way of repeating itself, and apple has seen the light where others didn't so many times before, I have a good feeling they'll have something significant.

I expect a lot of people to be disappointed though, just like after the ipad, and the iphone, and the ipod were all announced. People just don't get it for a while. I thiink the original mac got a pretty good reaction though.

So it says on the Apple website that only OSX Safari works and any Apple handheld. No Windows devices are compatible straight off the bat (like how it's been for all this time)
An easy workaround is this:
Download VLC Player from here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html
Install it and everything, make sure it works correctly.
Open the program. Click on Media (top left) > Open Network Stream.
You will see this screen: http://puu.sh/bqV9o.png
Paste this link into that field: http://p.events-delivery.apple.com....fpvkjnfvpijhabdfvpijbadfv09/m3u8/atv_mvp.m3u8
Initially you will see an error in VLC media player "Unable to open the MRU file ..." Don't worry, this is because the event has not started yet.

There will be a LOT of complaining and nitpicking, bank on it. People won't appreciate whatever it is until it's in their hands and they're actually using it. Until then all we'll have to go on is raw specs and raw specs have never been what Apple products are about.
