Well, the new OSX has some pretty nice features, can't help but feel they copied the desktop idea from Android? but whatever.. I also can't help but feel the new OSX has been designed with big screens in mind? Not laptops. But that name, oh dear oh dear...

Apple's Google Now rip off seems alright, but nothing amazing.

And are Apple going to try and take on DirectX and Open GL? Good luck.. also that tiny 7% of Windows 8 users is probably 5 times the number of Mac users combined haha.

Not sure what industry Apple thinks Siri is leading in, most likely the Comedy industry. Asked Siri the other day about something and all it does now is start up a message session when it doesn't understand something. Ask same question in Google Now and it immediately shows me information about what I asked about, 100% of the time. If Apple thinks Siri is leading over Google Now, they are not just full of it, but are in complete denial.

So let me get this right last week google was slated in these very forums bevause they harvest data and scan emails bla bla for google now , yet now proactive is released they will do the same, its all great features and fantastic. How do you think they will get the data to auto fill your calendar, or music searches or time to leave etc thats right good old data harvesting
Wrong!!!

Ewww David Guetta we went from U2 to even worse music. Seriously, there are better DJs out there that actually DJ real Electronic music and ACTUALLY DJ not some pre-recorded set. Tiesto, David Guetta And Avicii are among the worse DJs and Producers. Tiesto use to be grade but he is just a big time sell out I rather see Armin Van Buuren for Trance or John Digweed for Progressive.

There it is—the privacy angle. Good to hear and it's important. But it still needs to work well!

And this is what makes Proactive different from Google Now:

Poo-Tine. I was thinking something along those lines about the WWDC so far, especially the OS X Updates. More like 10.10.5 not 10.11.

I doubt 99% of users will care about privacy with regards to the assistant feature. They will only care whether it works well or not.
