i would try it for a month or so but if the station is playing the music selection like spotify which 10 out of 9 songs are hip hop, I'm canceling it.

No, humans make the playlists. Algorithms recommend the playlists. At the end of the day, it seems a feature that no one wants except people in the music industry. I personally trust algorithms more than humans curating my playlists. My guess is this scares industry execs so they are trying to make it seems like human curated lists are somehow better.

My impression of the Apple Music portion is that they threw it all together at the last minute once they realized that ATV would not be ready. This cries out for preparation, editing, rehearsal and clarity - all of which are plainly (and painfully) lacking. I didn't find this WWDC too terrible up to this point, but this is just sad.

The fact that Apple music was a "one more thing" is a total disgrace and embarrassment. I skimmed through this keynote and nothing excites me. The only thing I wanted was an updated Apple TV and for them to talk at length about how home kit will be available to do everything I ever wanted

Go look over the full list of "one more thing" features. They aren't all groundbreaking.

For all you people complaining - music is the one thing I use the most on any iOS device so this is a big deal - and I'm actually impressed (so far).

And I could say the same thing except they seemed to have butchered the music app....

What the hell? I just want a music app for LISTENING to music not all this other crap.
