Yeah... I'll get a really powerful gaming laptop and run linux. It's like OS X, wait, macOS, but without the emojification.
The best part of this keynote is that now it is just so much easier to leave the ecosystem. OSX is no long worth it.

Did you miss the new 'tween edition of iMessage, or the GD Kindergarten teacher demoing a child's coding app, Snaps?Do you really believe that's who the developers conference was targeting?
the irony in that name...At times like this, only a BBC Micro will do.
I love Tim's lofty vision and hyperbole about so many features. If you break it down - it's some nice improvements... but it's not "epic."
I have seen every single broadcast Apple Event since I bought a Mac in 2000, and that is the worst Apple event I've ever seen.
There were NO tea leaves that Apple would hint at hardware today. Over a week ago Rene Ritchie said don't expect any hardware at WWDC. Mark Gurman said the same thing. If that bothers people so much then rather than whine and moan here they should put their money where their mouth is and go Windows or Android. Don't just talk tough. Walk the talk.
So I guess people are popping a blood vessel because there was no new hardware today? Even though software is where Apple needs to make the most improvements. If people would take off their stupid hardware blinders for a minute the software announcements were very good. I wish I could install iOS 10 on my devices today.
Thanks guys ! reading and writing the posted comments were more entertaining than the whole Keynote.
I like iMessage too, and it also my most used app. Some of the new functions I welcome, others not so much. Overall the only other thing I really liked was the notifications and NC changes on iOS.I love it all.iMessages is my most used app!
