AppleTV is used for more than just TV shows, I stream music from it mostly. You don't want an audio speaker for TV, get a sound bar

Michelle Obama, really?! May as well bring in Hillary fresh from Re/Code!
oh god.... Obama.... well that is anti climatic, the rest is great! but the speakers didn't say Canada in this years release.... really apple.... US,UK,AUS not CAN?
So does this new iMac Pro mean the current black Mac Pro price is going to drop yet again?!?

I understand. You betting on 3 or 4GB on these?I was talking about RAM not storage.
At $349 this will not sound like a Play 5.How so? I was expecting it to be more expensive. Top of the line Sonos speaker is $499. Bose has some more expensive than that. No way Apple was going to price it the same as an amazon echo.
Good.Tim is on his political crusade again.
IBM had Will Smith at Interconnect this year to somehow relate his career to tech. Assuming the same with this...Developers conference vs. Michelle Obama? Now I'm confused.
Sonos has this crap coming to them if they don't get to work on that Alexa integration with Sonos
At 4GB I would be EXTREMELY interested, at 3GB, not so much.I understand. You betting on 3 or 4GB on these?
Hopefully not 2GB.... That would put a wet rag on it.
If people want sound quality they need a high end receiver and real towering speakers. Such a setup can cost a couple grand to 20k
They're going after the high-end compact connected speaker market (Sonos), not cheap, commodity Bluetooth speakers. Which should not be surprising, that's what Apple generally does. If the audio quality is there and it really is smart (self-balancing to room shape and placement, easily controlled multi-room audio, great integration with all Apple devices, etc.), there's a market there. I've been considering Sonos for some time and always hold back because of the not-great integration with all my Apple stuff, so this is perfect for me (again, if the quality is there). I can see myself buying 3-4 of these (2 living room, 1 bedroom, 1 kitchen), but I'll have to research the hell out of it first.$349? Kinda absurd. Google Home is $100 and makes free calls.
