Uh - I hope we're able to turn off the pop-up nag screens when in an app asking us if we want to buy more stuff. I'm sure they will. It's Apple - right?
this is a lot longer event than I thought it would be
Isn't sims the biggest selling PC game of all time. That means it's not just 12 year olds buying

Boring so far.
-> Still no trial apps.
-> Typical lame Apple battery excuse for no multitasking, by using an unnamed, and no doubt worst case, application.
-> Using Google maps API in apps. That's always been possible.
-> Core location. Ditto. So what if they include a library for direction math.
-> Push notification. Still leaving out the details, I see.
BUt of course, they use Valley Girl phrases like "awesome" and "amazing", because people eat it up.
really??
Such a shame
So far I like the updates, though but I want to see more (improved UI + themes, improved resources management and app killing, more productive apps and ban all the farting apps, about copy and paste it's not like I can't do with it but it's welcome)
Fair enough. The real issue making me wait is waiting for my camera to be returned by a friend so I can snap the pictures
As to the question re: why push isn't good enough, it's very simple--ssh. I despise having to start a new session just because I want to check my email or send a text.
Umm... It started 45 minutes ago.

This is just the dev side of things so far. The consumer side is on the way.
I think the substantive stuff is over. It's just the demos now, then a round up and that'll pretty much be it.
No, what I mean is:
Backround apps draining battery 80% faster = expected
Maybe they'll do a Star Trek app for you.
any one else starting to get tired of engadgets bash coments everyother update![]()
