the use of accessories and bluetooth gave me the idea of an external keyboard! u guys remember the old palm keyboards that can fold and u put in ur pocket. would we be able to use bluetooth keyboards now? this would be great for taking notes in lectures! if this is true, im selling my macbook!
BUt of course, they use Valley Girl phrases like "awesome" and "amazing", because people eat it up.
Again, this is a lot longer event than what I thought it would be.

No, because most of what they're saying is pretty much right. Who cares about app demos because we've seen it all before?!
- Next up, LifeScan glucose monitoring for diabetes.
- Glucose monitor can take a reading and send it to the iPhone via Bluetooth.
- Can use iPhone to calculate insulin requirements based on readings.
The other option is that they're keeping the SDK demos along with the SDK discussion. We may go onto non-SDK-related new features next (for example, tethering would likely appear as a standard network to apps rather than need its own API).
And now for commercial break.....
HOPE + APPLE = DISAPPOINTMENT
Thankyou, now back to the program where they will give you insulin to keep you from passing out during the sugary sweetening of mediocre.

They show how the new API's can be used in real life...how can people not understand this?
Am i just too geeky for even this forum?
is this going to be the 'copy&paste' feature for one more thing?
Let's say I *don't* have diabetes. But I still want an iPhone.
Jeez, the blogger from engadget sure is snarky
You'l sell your macbook because you might be able to type notes up on a screen smaller than your hand :S?
Did you buy a macbook just to take notes or something? that sounds abit mental too me
