Quite right, considering Microsoft is going to be attempting a big push into the market with Zune HD it's a good stratergy. Not only point out how small they are compared to Apple (important for the ecosystem around these products) but then they can also point out how far ahead on features the iPod Touch is, largely thanks to the App Store and the massive userbase.

Actually, that's the bit that's got my jaw on the floor. 50 Million Mobile OS X devices in a little over two years.... I'm trying to think if there's anything out there that compares to that and struggling. It certainly makes portable games consoles look a little weak by comparison.
