"Cable TV is dead, we are going to replace it with streaming"

"By the way, here's an awesome new zero sign on feature for people with Cable TV"
On demand (netflix, hulu, amazon) yes Cable TV is dead but live IPTV streaming is still terrible.

If Spectrum adds Cloud DVR I might finally be able to ditch my STB. The only problem is lack of 5.1 on most of the TV apps on ATV. No real 5.1 is a dealbreaker. Sound bars while convenient are not true surround and no replacement for a real 5.1 setup with great speakers and a quality A/V receiver.

And that’s the biggest problem. You want Mac stuff because you’re a Mac user. Sadly, Apple doesn’t care about the Mac as much as you do and that’s just a truth you’re going to have to get used to.
Which only goes to prove how Apple's priorities have changed. In Steve Job's day OS X was top of the pile. Now I have to watch the whole damn childish presentation.
