Which only goes to prove how Apple's priorities have changed. In Steve Job's day OS X was top of the pile. Now I have to watch the whole damn childish presentation.

No, you don’t have to watch anything. You can go somewhere else, nobody is holding a gun to your head.
 
This is like when you're at a gig and you keep waiting for the band to play your number one favourite track. And the hits go past, one by one, and you look at your watch thinking... they're not going to play it are they? Time starts running out and hopes fade.

It's worse. It's like your favourite band is 2 hours late to start, and then the singer stumbles out on stage, super drunk, screams in the mic that he hates you all and you suck, then passes out and the gig is cancelled.
 
apple typically has a lot of 'just look at how beautiful this (video/picture) is' moments at these but this is getting a bit ridiculous lol

Oh please, Steve Jobs had an event to announce iPod socks and a special U2 iPod. Stop rewriting history. If Steve was still around today would macOS still be top of the pile. Absolutely not. Stop being bitter about it.
