This may be a stupid question, but if I pause the stream on Apple TV, will it pick up where I left off when I un-pause, or will it jump to the live stream?

It will be live after the keynote then you can watch an skip

I'll see it i can watch live stream, MR, and comment.. all at once..

(This is gonna be fun *rolls eyes* all without making a singe mistake.)

We're off to a good start :p

Trying not to get too hyped, but if iPadOS is it's own separate thing, then doesn't that free them up to move in some radically new directions? Would love to be able to run a docked version of macOS Lite on the iPad, for instance. But even an overhaul to the way the iPad UI should work and separating that from the iPhone would be really interesting.

I personally think this is something Apple should do. But the skeptic in me says it won't happen. Apple has become a bit too conservative and reluctant to make major changes. I don't know if it's sensitivity to past criticism, an attempt at maintaining the status quo (i.e. no revenue disruptions), or a combination of the two, but I fully expect the iPad to continue with iOS.

Since there's a rumor you can use the iPad as a 2nd display for MacOS this move to iPadOS seems like as natural.

Might be a lot more MacOS type stuff going to iPadOS.

Makes me feel 12 years old again.
Similar to how the WiFi went out a few years ago. Imagine Tim typing something on a MBP live and he starts to get ddouble presses off the same letterr

Has he ever demo'ed anything other than a call on the phone and something on the watch? I don't remember any others.

an iPadOS that is untethered from iOS for iPhone could really exploit the hardware capabilities of the iPad and in turn give people reasons to upgrade.

I just realised: the face on the WWDC presentation screen is the bottom of the Mac Pro: two large circular fan vents, and the mouth is the new passthru I/O port for stacking modules. The triangle is the central docking nodule, obviously.

I’ve seen a number of the CPU/GPU performance media here like Anandtech, so that is pretty telling in terms of Mac hardware we should expect.

Must mean they have something they think will get performance accolades.

Perhaps, and there is the Troughton-Smith tweet that says it's true. However, you can potentially implement this without the need to separate from iOS. We'll know soon enough I suppose.

Agree. That's why I said "I Personally think this is something Apple should do." It's just that pesky skeptical voice in my head! ;)
