This may be a stupid question, but if I pause the stream on Apple TV, will it pick up where I left off when I un-pause, or will it jump to the live stream?
13.0, based on tvOS not resetting at 1.0 after the rename.Taking bets now, will iPadOS be version 13.0, 1.0, or other?
Trying not to get too hyped, but if iPadOS is it's own separate thing, then doesn't that free them up to move in some radically new directions? Would love to be able to run a docked version of macOS Lite on the iPad, for instance. But even an overhaul to the way the iPad UI should work and separating that from the iPhone would be really interesting.
Still just getting a blank grey screen on Apple TV.Stream's up

I personally think this is something Apple should do. But the skeptic in me says it won't happen. Apple has become a bit too conservative and reluctant to make major changes. I don't know if it's sensitivity to past criticism, an attempt at maintaining the status quo (i.e. no revenue disruptions), or a combination of the two, but I fully expect the iPad to continue with iOS.
Similar to how the WiFi went out a few years ago. Imagine Tim typing something on a MBP live and he starts to get ddouble presses off the same letterr
If true and not just a last minute "Hail Mary" rumor, then I'll happily admit I was wrong.
Tried that... tried rebooting, tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling... still just opens to a blank grey screen. (grr)Force close and reopen?
an iPadOS that is untethered from iOS for iPhone could really exploit the hardware capabilities of the iPad and in turn give people reasons to upgrade.I personally think this is something Apple should do. I’ve seen a number of the CPU/GPU performance media here like Anandtech, so that is pretty telling in terms of Mac hardware we should expect.
Must mean they have something they think will get performance accolades.
Since there's a rumor you can use the iPad as a 2nd display for MacOS this move to iPadOS seems like as natural.
Might be a lot more MacOS type stuff going to iPadOS.
