So what are you guys more embarrassed by the fact that Craig Bellamy tried to injure John Arne Riise by hitting his legs with a golf club, or that Benitez basically just gave Bellamy a slap on the hand by just fining him and putting him in the starting 11 against Barca.

Let's be honest what Bellamy did was assult and should not be tolerated. How many times has Bellamy done something to kill the image of football. He is now the Tonya Harding or football.

Well to be honest the fact that so many LFC players were fined for misconduct. But I wouldn't listen to all media reports, they do have a tendency to blow things up.

where in the US are you?

should be a good game tomorrow at the Nou Camp, looking forward to it!

I'm currently at grad school in Michigan's Upper Peninsula...my home base is in Cleveland, OH. I want to get ITVN for Setanta Sports, but right now my financial aid package is just too tight. I'm planning on getting it this August though, so next season will be available to me in all its glory.

RE: the training bust-up: as far as I'm concerned, they should let Bellamy go if he really attacked Riise's legs with a golf club. That is just unacceptable. I don't think Liverpool really needs him anyway.

But maybe the tabloids are blowing it out of proportion - if 15 players got fined it was obviously something beyond just Riise and Bellamy. My guess is he fined the players for getting wasted more than anything else.

Do any of you guys in the US (or elsewhere) listen to the World Soccer Daily podcast?

Im sure the tabloids hyped it up a little more than it really was, but it was Bellamy so nothing would surprise me.

I do listen to World Soccer Daily, I also watch Steven and Nick on FFF, and I can get a bit tired of them on the phone in. But for the most part they are good, the only annoying thing is callers that try to call in and ask REALLY simple questions and make them complex. I mean if they just read the headlines (not even the articles) they would have their answers and I wouldnt have to listen to them.

Well looky who scored against Barca...I guess the golf club incident hasn't dulled either one of those guys skills. :D

LOVE Bellamy's celebration...way to give the media the finger!

I've only watched FFF once or twice - it's not as good as the radio show IMHO, but OK.

I love hearing Nick and Steven rant about Landycakes and all things dealing with US soccer. Some of their regular callers are freaking annoying, and others (like Lawrence "the Gooner") are entertaining. I also like their stand-in guy Howard, even if he is a Man U supporter...

Momo had a blinder tonight. Bellamy's completely unselfish pass to Riise made the second goal.

Have to say that the referee was absolutely shocking. What the hell was Agger's yellow card about. He was far too protective of the players and just got things completely wrong. It was like Liverpool were playing against 12 men.

Hope Momo recovers quickly as he is top notch.

The match would have been great if it weren't for the ref.

Also did anyone see that Barca fan/steward/photographer who gobbed at Gerrard.

I would also like to say to all the Man U fans out there and that i hope everyone is all right and that the truth is seen. Man U were treated appallingly by Lillie and in my view Lillie should be knocked out of the tournament for their behaviour and they way they treated the Man U fans.

Justice for the 96

Was trying so hard to get tickets for the final, in the end it would've cost be in the region of £2000, just can't afford that.

Went to the Charlton game, poor Padelli way too nervous on his debut. We played shockingly but suppose it is good to get it out of their system. Major plus though as soon as Kewell came on for Bolo the quality immediately shot up. Kewell was on fire, had something to prove and boy did he. If only God was on the pitch when the penalty was awarded, at anfield in front of the Kop would have been an amazing send off. (Lets hope he gets one in the Champions League Final)

Good to see Dudek at half time, despite recent form he has done us proud.

And finally was a sad sad day to say goodbye to God, my childhood hero, not afraid to say that a tear or two was shed as he waved goodbye. We will all miss you Robbie.

Man I was so excited last night I couldn't get to sleep for ages. One more sleep here. Then up at 6.30am to watch.

So excited.

Man I'm nervous. Not helping is the dream I had 3 nights ago... we lost 4-1 :(
There's a different feeling this time to 2005... maybe because Milan will be out for blood.
But Number Six would be so, so sweet :D

C'MON THE REDS!

I so hope we win tonight, really love to silence the Chelski and Man U fans. I'm going to the pub about 4 hours early so I can get a good seat.

Sing loud sing proud

When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm
Is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark

Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

i can understand being confident fans, but the webmaster at the official liverpool website slightly overdid it this time!

:D :D talk about jinxing it...

1-0 AC Milan at the half. Liverpool looked like the better side all half, dominating possession and having a few decent chances to score. However, a dumb foul on Kaka near the end of regular time led to a close-in free kick which AC cashed in nicely.

Did you see the new iTunes ad? I love it! Didnt think we would see it on UK screens.

As for the match, im a Man City fan but really routing for Liverpool. The Scousers have bossed the game completely, but not really had the cutting edge. Zenden is absolute garbage. Id be tempted to bring Kewell on.
