The RSS feed is nice to have except it can make the screen look a little too cluttered. Configuring the plugin is dead easy though with the LI Matte theme.

I've got Status Notifier to tell me if I have any RSS feeds ready to read anyway so I guess it's ok.

EDIT. Thanks IBradMac! ;)

If you're talking about the Gruppled theme, It's under 'Weather Settings' in the config.js file

Here's a tutorial I used.

Ok so i think my picture messed up so im gonna attach it but i have been tryin to figure out how to get the right slider icons in the file..Thanks A million!!

Manually change lock clock

I would like my lock clock to be like this style

flowchatupload256092636.jpg

How can I manually make it like this? Not through winterboard because I like my LockInfo the way it is I dont want to apply the entire gruppled lockinfo theme I just want the clock!

I downloaded the Gruppled Art theme so I have the background image (UILCDBackground.png), so I could find out where the stock image is and replace it (like I did with the sliders), but even if I did do that I'm sure I'd still be left with the large stock clock font.

I've searched and googled and read but can't find out how to do this!:confused:

in Gruppled LockInfo.theme\Bundles\com.ashman.LockInfo\css\structure.css there is a #background set of tags. You can set where it looks for the background in there.

should look something like this

Code:
div#background {
background-image: url(../images/lockinfo.jpg);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
width:320px;
height:480px;
padding:0px;
position: absolute;
top: 0;
left: 0;
}
you can change where it looks or replace the file.
the images it's referring to in this example are located here
Gruppled LockInfo.theme\Bundles\com.ashman.LockInfo\images

Thanks for the reply but I am only looking for the clock. I want to replace the standard lock iPhone clock with the clock in the picture. The smaller font with the date to the right instead of underneath. And the grey background behind it.
I'd prefer not to use winterboard, or bother with the lockscreen-info files, I want to do it manually. For example I manually changed the sliders on my phone to the ones like in the picture above by going into the stock regular iPhone files and replacing it.
Must be a way to change the stock clock and clock background as well. I would do it through winterboard but only if it was to change the clock, as I like my lockinfo & regular theme the way it is, I don't want to change the entire phone to the gruppled-art theme just like his sliders & lock clock!!!!!!:confused:

The clock is part of the grupple theme, you just need to enable it.

Code:
/*––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––*/
// GENERAL SETTINGS

// Your country code
// If it's not in the strings/ folder, please translate strings/en.js and send to gruppler@gmail.com
var language = "en";
// NOTE: to change time formats, look in strings/en.js (or whatever language file you're using)

// Arrange and/or disable (by commenting-out) sections:
// To enable a section, remove the "//" at the beginning of the line
var sections = [
	//"Clock",
	"Weather",
	"Mail",
	"Calendar",
	"Calls",
	"Voicemail",
	"SMS",
];

// If "Clock" is enabled in the "sections" list above, this shows the bigger custom clock
var useBigClock = true;

this is the config.js. you just need to remove the hashs (the // marks) from clocks and re-upload it to your phone
respring and viola.

Thing is I'm not using the gruppled theme. I'm using LockInfo Matte UI. I like it the way it is. But I like the gruppled sliders & Clock style like in the picture above. I manually switched the sliders instead of the stock ones so I have the sliders (which I got from the gruppled_art downloads) but can't figure out how to change the stock iphone clock & clock background (if I did this, I wouldnt even need the clock-hide from Cydia)

I'll try to do what your saying but I want to change the factory stock clock style & background that the phone came with.

Ok so after hours of searching I gave up & just installed the Gruppled lock info theme - only to find out it doesnt work with the Todo plugin!
So I'm back to square one.
I like the matteUI Lockinfo theme (+ it works with Todo) but want the Gruppled style clock & background. I know it can be done because I've seen screenshots of the lock screen with all sorts of different style clocks.
Anyone know how???:confused:

The guy who made the lockinfo app, wrote a Todo addon for lockinfo
you'll just need to download it.

There are three files that you must replace...I have done what you pictured before....
Names of the files to replace are;

bottombarkbkgndlock.png
bottombarknobgray.png
bottombarknobgreen.png

:confused:

I've read in other forums that the Todo addon does not work with Gruppled Lock Info theme. But even if it did that's not the point!! It works with the matteUI Lockinfo theme, which is fine I like it thats what I have.

But its the Gruppled CLOCK & CLOCK BACKGROUND style that I want.

Does anyone know how to change the clock & clock background style only?:(

I switched to matte lockinfo because I wanted the things plugin and my clock is the way you want it. I'm not sure how I got it that way though lol. Do you want me to upload the files and email you the download link so you cam use it as a template? Let me know if so :)

I imagine you'd have to copy the javascript/css over, and edit it into place. which will work but you should probably find someone who knows Java and CSS if you don't.

i imagine a novice with some experience could do it, but it would be a significant amount of trial an error involved.

On the LockInfo screen, I see that some of you have the colored icons (mail, calendar, weather, etc), how do you get that? Mine is plain white and generic.

Also, how do you get the bday reminders section on there? That seems so useful!

If you could yes please that would be awesome thank you!!!!

So you would upload the files & I would activate them in winterboard?

I've run into two bugs:

1. When my calendar reminder pop up shows up, LockInfo's screen goes blank and I have to re-spring Winterboard

2. Scrolling down (fingers swiping upward) doesn't work very well until you scroll up first.

browse the related folders in your phone. Search for the small (png?) images, and swap them for the ones you want.

Can someone pls tell me how to get the Calendar like this image...where it shows all the upcoming dates under just the Calendar heading? I currently have it set to each date having its own heading and having to hit the arrow to expand it, but I've always wanted to have all the upcoming dates in just one heading for Calendar so they all show with just one expand. Thanks

as long as you have the calender enabled it'll show up on the screen you just neeed to make sure there are appointments in there.
