It is possible but it is a major pain in the ass and it doesn't work for everyone. Mine is set like that, but for some reason it wouldn't work on Dhlizard's. I can send you my theme if you would like to try it though.
I can't seem to get the original "slide to unlock" slider back.
Are you using clock hide?
Hey guys,
How would I get my "Things" to-do app to show on the lockscreen?
I managed to do it when I had the MatteUI with an add-in through Winterboard, but it doesn't seem to display with Gruppled. I have managed to edit some of the config file, but I'm way too newb to do anything complicated...
Thanks
Just go into the theme and then springboard folder and delete all the slider stuff. That's what I did.
Do you mean springboard.strings? I've tried deleting that file but that didn't work. Also deleted the entire com.apple.springboard folder but that didn't solve it either. The second method got back the text "slide to unlock" but it was shifted to the right and off the screen.
This is how my screen looks right now:

This is exactly how I want it:

How can I make it so that my clock and slider is the same as the one pictured above? The only theme I have enabled in winterboard is Gruppled LockInfo. TIA
Sorry. I forgot what I deleted... Here's my theme folder zipped.
It should be all good to go. If you want the big clock back then turn off Clock Hide in your settings (Or remove it) and then hide the Gruppled clock in settings.js

I know this is dumb...but....I can't find LockInfo in Cydia. Where is it? I ran a search and can't find it. Help please...
Nope..that link didn't work. Did they take lockinfo out of cydia???
You need to edit the structure.css file. It's located in Gruppled/Bundles/com.ashman.lockinfo/css. Find this text...
.header {
height:18px;
line-height:18px;
font-size:12px;
color:white;
padding-top:2px;
font-weight:bold;
text-align:left;
background-image:url(../images/bar.png);
background-repeat:no-repeat;
clear:both;
text-shadow: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.75) 0px -1px 1px !important;
}
That should do it.

Did you try Google ?
You need to have the LockInfo package from Cydia installed from the repo http://david.ashman.com/beta/
Look for LockScreen Info extension
links not working. its just crashing cydia.
I did that and everytime cydia resets and does not add the source.
Hey everyone, hoping you guys can help a newb out with this app.
Ok, I'm not quite sure how this work, and therefore if it's possible or not, but can I choose what items I want to show up on my lockscreen?
For example, I have gmail, and use the gpush app to get push notifications. Can I choose to have my gpush notifications setup on the lockscreen? Basically, I would like it to tell me how many notifications I have, and then maybe show the most recent notification? I see in the original post that there is a picture of a lock screen and one of the categories is "Mailcount", and it says 1, with the subject of the email and the person's name. I would like that to be the gpush notification. Is that possible?
Same basic question for the SMS. I currently use Unlimited SMS, and not the native texting app. Can I have the lockscreen show me the number of my USMS notifications, with the most recent or two messages underneath?
TIA!!
[edit] never mind, ignore me, i'm happy with mine now. just need the lock screen to stay lit up longer (read about that somewhere, will find it again) and remove the default SMS alert bubble (again, read about that somewhere, just need to find it again.
[edit 2] actually i do have a question, sorry if it has already been covered. is it possible to get the SMS info to display the senders name without showing a preview of the message? at the moment i just have it set to folded, and then "display 0 when folded" so i have an sms alert and counter, just no idea who sent them as i don't want a preview showing on screen.
eg:
SMS (2)
- Bob
- Jim
Get LockScreen Dim Delay from 20 seconds to 2 minutes (Cydia free)
Get Popup Blocker (Cydia store)
My lockscreen only shows who text is from, not message, all done with .js files
