LockInfo is 3.0 Ready.

Please help me, Sliders are not showing up

I read a lot of the post since this morning regarding Grupple Lockinfo Sliders. However, I was unable to find a solution to my problem.

I have a iphone 3gs (jailbroken) and using the Gruppled Lockinfo Lockscreen. Now my problem is that don't no slider show up on my lockscreen, it's invisible. What I'm trying to do is somehow get that "slim gray slider" to unlock my phone that I'm keep seeing pics of. I have played with winterboard and made sure I have all 3 themes in the correct order (Gruppled Art Theme, Grupple Lockinfo and Tea Lockbackground and it's still not showing a slider. I even downloaded and installed some sliders from Cydia to see if they would work, and still no slider.

Here is a pic of my lockscreen as you can see, there's no slider.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Toggle the "Full Screen" switch to off. It's under Settings - > Lockinfo and under the Lockscreen menu. That should do the trick.

All I can say is..WOW! That worked! I've been tampering with this all day trying to get that slider.

Is anyone having problems with ashman sources? I get an error on cydia load and I cant enter david.ashman or iphone.ashman without getting errors.

Anyone else?
 
ToDo plugin

I have been using the ToDo plugin for quite awhile, but it just stopped working and I don't know why. I have tasks in Appigo ToDo lite, but thew LockInfo screen doesn't show them anymore, it says (0) behind ToDo. Any ideas? I would love to try the prelease that was posted here, but don't know how to install it. I'm assuming it is something you need to know how to use SSH for, but I haven't got that far in my learning yet;).

Did you update to a newer version of Appigo ToDo lite? I've read in a few different forums that the new release doesn't play well with the plug-in. I'm pretty sure ViViDboarder (dev for the plug-in) is aware of the problem and probably have a fix for it soon.

That could be, I normally just let iTunes update apps as updates come up. Thanks for the info, I'll just watch for an update to the plugin.

How do you get your weather to say updated 11m ago? Mine says a time and doesn't change no matter what time I update it. It only shows the time the temperature has changed not when I pressed the arrow to update it.

I am aware but I haven't been able to dev a fix for it yet since the update required 3.1.2 which I have not updated to yet. Once I do that I'll be able to update and think of a fix.

Although, I'm more than a little worried about this:

Considering I posted that I have yet to update my phone to the new firmware 20 min ago... It's not. Haha.

When I get home I'll try to get my phone updated to 3.1.3 and hope it all goes smoothly. When I get my phone all set up I can start developing a fix. I hope it doesn't take very long and that it's just a change in column names or filepaths.

Sorry, I meant the one you were talking about a week or so ago with the ability to check stuff off and show how urgent it was.

OH! Here's some progress...

Appigo:
  • Checking things as DONE I have working. It does not automatically refresh but I also added a refresh icon on the Header bar to compensate. I need to ask Ashman how I can force a refresh.
  • Priority indicators show up... but I can't get the toggle to have them hide working. I need to ask Ashman about this as well. Else I'll just hardcode it to not show and figure that out later.
  • None of these will be released until I can get the plugin to work with the latest version of Appigo. Once I have my plugin patched, these features will be in the release with it.

2Do:
  • I have the button for marking things as done, but for some reason the App doesn't recognize the changes I'm making. I'll have to debug a bit more to find out just what the 2Do app does to the database when an item is marked as Done.
  • I have priority indicators for 2Do as well, but they have the same issue as in Appigo Todo. So when I can find an answer to this I'll put them in.

Man I hope this comes soon. That red badge on my App Store icon is killing me.

Your Todo plugin along with the calendar make Lockinfo priceless to me. Your work is greatly appreciated. :)

Someone commented on the google code page that it's a REALLY small change so I may be able to give you a beta of it to test for me tonight if you want.

I would like to fix it before go through my update to 3.1.3 so if someone else can verify my build for me I'd be happy to email them the .deb as a beta as soon as it's compiled!

NM... Anyone who has already updated and found the plugin not working... Try this link and let me know if it works, either by PM or email. No need to crowd this thread. :)

Keep in mind this version (1.2.6) is BETA. It may or may not work. If it does work, you'll get the partially working Priority indicators, Mark as Done, and Hiding of Time if no time is set... These functions were tested by me for the LAST version of Appigo and I have not tested it yet. I just wanted to see if this would work so I SSH'd to my iMac at home via my phone and compiled a quick fix for testing purposes.

If this works I'll try for a real release, v1.3.0 tonight and then kill this link.

EDIT AGAIN: Just got a report back from someone that this doesn't fix it. So I'm going to have to update my phone later and figure it out. They changed the db name but probably changed some column names as well.
 
Does anyone have an answer to these 2 questions:


Why doesn't the weather forecast on Lockinfo update by itself (I have the weathericon enabled in my statusbar as well)?


And when you do click the update arrow for weather, why does it show the time the weather has changed and not at that moment that you pressed 'update'?
 
yeah i have a pretty big issue too.

i went into the library/lockinfo folder and replaced the existing weathericon and lock weather icons with a different set. but no matter what I do, i still get the stock weather icon set that comes with lockinfo.

Yes. You need to install a theme in your Springboard.app folder.

Because Weathericon is horribly unreliable.

I updated to the latest ToDo plug-in via Cydia (v1.3.0) but haven't updated to the latest Appigo ToDo yet (I'm still using v3.2).

Just wanted to let you know that the newer ToDo plug-in doesn't work with older versions of Todo (go figure huh?).

I thought I would let you know just in case you started getting a lot of complaints about it not working.

Before I try v1.3.1, does it do the same thing with older versions of ToDo or do I have to update my Appigo ToDo?

I fixed my problem simply by uninstalling v1.3.0 through Cydia and reinstalling the v1.2.2 deb I still had on my computer.

Thanks again for all your hard work...

Yea... They changed a file name... That's why I'm not releasing my update for 1.3.1 on Cydia. The update 1.3.0 is on Ashmans repo and that's only supporting the latest version. I won't push this 1.3.1/2 update out to MMI because it's not backwards compatible. Once I get a fix in there to handle backwards compatability I'll send it to Cydia. So you shouldn't update. :D

Also... Forget 1.3.1. I just built 1.3.2 and the only changes are localization for a couple languages. So if you hate seeing No Due Date in English, download this and try out German, French, Portguese, Spanish... If your language isn't represented, let me know what language it is and the proper translation. Or if you want to correct the translation... do the same. I did these with Google. :) Post any language info to my Google Code page so I can track them.
