Thanks :)

Yeah, someone should make this a sticky and keep the first post updated with the relevant links etc :)

I'd be glad to do it if a moderator would think it useful and make it sticky or something. I've seen just about every question so far, haha. I'd be great to just use this thread but any such post would be buried so far down.

ViViDboarder: Any progress on fixing the "Dec 31" date issue with the 2do plugin? Could you release an update that allows us to hide the date entirely and just show the name of the task?

Thanks for your work, it's greatly appreciated :)

I emailed the Developers of the actual 2Do app and I'm hoping they get back to me. They seemed receptive so far but I haven't heard back on specifics.

As far as hiding the due date entirely, a developer working on a ToodleDo variant of my plugins is trying to figure something to enable this but is having some issues. If we can get it for his plugin I can port it over to mine fairly easily.

ViViDboarder, Ive found the lockinfo folder via SSH-but I can't see section_subheader.png in the downloaded files

If there is no section_subheader then they just use the default one. It's pretty generic so I'm not surprised. I wouldn't worry.

On another note... I don't want to get anyone's hopes up but I have a lot of ideas for plugins and such but I need a good rundown of how to write obj-c. I'm taking a lot of guesses and mostly just cutting and pasting and altering code and realized that despite "writing" two plugins I know mostly nothing.

Anyone have any good resources for someone with C, C++, C# background? I would like to try and get a quick and dirty Now Playing plugin for the media player as an experiment. :D

Do I just copy the Gruppled Art.theme folder into the lockinfo folder?

No, just the part that has to do with LockInfo. The Gruppled Art folder has a lot of different themes in it. There should be a folder in there named lockinfo or something. You want that one. I think you can copy anything in that folder to the LockInfo folder.

Gruppled LockInfo.theme folder which has Bundles and UIImages folders?

Since the last couple LockInfo updates (both today if I recall correctly) that when you unlock, the LockInfo screen just slides up and disappears at the top of the screen ?

noticed that as well today with the update. neat little feature. i think you can turn it off in the settings, but i kinda like it

I am using gruppled art to theme and am having problems theming the "x" button. Depsite titling it the same "LIDelete.png" it is not actually theming. Any ideas?

Also, is it possible to later the size/color of part of a header (i.e. just the clock) and not the entire header?

Yea, the fly up animation is nice.

Also, there are two new plugins. One is Lockscreen Weather, which replaces WeatherIcon and Clock. The other is RSS which shows new items and has the expanded preview as well. I have the Lockscreen Weather plugin shown below as well as a teaser for those of you using my Todo or 2Do plugins. I'm working on the preview window and I'll probably have it done very soon.

I'm really loving the new lockinfo weather. And vivid, that preview of the to do items looks great!! Can't wait til you finish it :)

Thanks! It basically works. I just gotta play with colors and make a little tweak and it will show whatever notes you have for your todo item in the preview. Then I want to experiment with adding a button to mark items as done.

I've never written a UIView before so this is all new to me, but I'm trying to learn. Also, I'm not sure that it's even possible for me to mark items as done from the lock screen. I know I can make the changes to the database but I am not sure how the Todo app will react when it tries to load it the next time... I hope it will work as it will be a great feature!

I noticed the new weather plugin as well. Is it better than the calender plugin plus the weather plugin?

ViViDboarder,

Do you have to remove WeatherIcon and Clock to use the new Lockscreen Weather? Do you still have the ability to have the six day forecast along with the new Lockscreen Weather? Looking forward to your new Todo plug-in, the current one has been working flawless. Will the new ToDo plug-in be a .deb or on Cydia?

Thanks...

You don't have to remove the other plugins. I have them disabled because they are mostely redundant. If you tap the new weather plugin you get the 7 day forecast. So the only thing that is gone is the month calendar in the Clock plugin. So if you want that you need the other two. The new weather plugin DOES still require WeatherIcon, but not the WeatherIcon LockInfo plugin. Follow? I never used the month calendar so this is perfect for me.

If you want to test the new Todo plugin you can get it early in a .deb or you can wait for it in Cydia. I'll hopefully have a .deb to play with tonight/tomorrow morning.

Also...

Rather than crowding up this thread please post any issues with my plugins on my Google Code pages for each project. Thanks!

I installed the new Lock Weather plugin but my lockscreen is still showing my clock. How do I get it to stop showing my clock since the Lock Weather plugin already displays the time and date? I know that I can use the fullscreen option but I don't want to do that because I like have the slide to unlock visible.

If you mean the Default Apple clock, download Clock Hide in Cydia. If you mean the LockInfo clock bar, then turn it off in Settings>LockInfo>Plugins>Clock or remove that plugin in Cydia.

I'm enjoying the new Lockinfo Weather plugin, but I do miss the calendar. I was hoping (but I'm not going to be greedy) that David would do something more similar to Teehan and split the screen between weather and clock and allow for a different pulldown from each "half". That was really the only thing I liked about Teehan's take on lockinfo, and that he does have a very attractive clock/weather section.

I'll take this with the added functionality of native Lockinfo though. No complaints, just wishes!

I suppose he could try to add the calendar as another window cell that would drop down when you touch the bar... but I'm not sure he has plans to. You can always ask. :D

It was the default Apple clock that I was referring to. Lock Info Clock Hide took care of it. Thanks!
