lockinfo plugins does not do what it is selected in the visibility section.

for example:

i only want email and calendar to only show up on my homescreen.
i only want phone, clock/weather to show up on my lock screen.

but when selecting in the visibility section for each plugin, they show up in everything (lockscreen, homescreen, and infoshade).

anyone else encountered this?

That's an older version. Install the latest version from the beta repo.

does anybody know how to get certain plugins to show up in the home screen or infoshade but not show up on lockscreen.

I would love weather to only show up when the infoshade is pulled down with activator. I want my lockscreen to be minimalistic and only popup when needed.

thats what i pretty much asked 2 post above yours. i want to know the same thing. it seems like it doesnt matter what you select in the visibility section in each plugin.

That's the latest version (when you said you had 3.0 I thought you meant 2.3.0 or something like that). Have you tried removing it and reinstalling?

I take it the gruppled and 235 teehanlax themes are not compatible? I tried the first one and it didn't appear and I can get the Element/235 theme going but I cannot collapse the separate sections.

I had same problem yesterday. Initially installed through Rock (ver. 2.3.3.0, I think), wouldn't show in Settings. I tried respring, reboot (soft and hard), uninstall and reinstall, no luck. Contacted the developer who suggested a reboot, though Mobile Substrate 'wasn't hooking'.

On a whim, I recalled reading elsewhere during previous jailbreak of my 3GS that stability of apps can vary depending where it's installed from (Cydia vs. Rock) so I completely removed Lockinfo and other associated sources and also uninstalled Rock, then redownloaded Lockinfo via Cydia. Presto, pop up message stating Lockinfo in managed through Settings app and there it was.

I've since updated my sources to the beta repo (now have version 2.3.4.2) but I had no problems with the previous version either.

For some reason my weather isn't updating at the appropriate intervals that I have it set at in the options, anyone else experiencing the same problem? It's only updating manually when i hit the refresh button.

I'm using the Lock Clock Weather plugin (the first one in the plugins list).

Don't lock your screen when you're on a call.

That's idiotic. My screen is still locked if I answer from a BT headset etc. If there's no way to see my call timer from a locked screen, lockinfo needs an update to allow this.

I'm new to lockinfo and I have a question. When I'm listening to music via the ipod app and the song has artwork it overrides the lockinfo screen. The album art displays on the lock screen instead of my lockinfo. Is there anyway to disable the album artwork from displaying on the lock screen?

Sorry if this a dumb question, any help would be appreciated.

I had to uninstall LockInfo last night. I like having a blank first page to show off wallpapers that I like, and then the apps and folders start on the second homescreen. With LockInfo installed, every time the springboard restarted, it would delete the blank page and move all the app/folder icons to the first page. I'm hoping that this gets fixed in later versions because LockInfo is a fantastic app.

I also like to have my first page blank. As a workaround you can use iblank to create 16 blank icons and place them on the first page. I should mention that to do this you'll also need winterboard to turn off the app icon shadows.

I have this problem, too. It will update through the pull down menu when at the home screen, but not at the lock screen unless the phone is rebooted.

I've found that respringing once, sometimes twice, usually fixes this. My routine now is to make the changes, then back all the way out to the main Settings screen, then respring. Occassionally I'll have to respring again, but the changes always take hold eventually.

i did that a bunch of times and it doesnt stick for me. so you're able to display certain items in certain screen?

Yeah, I kept switching stuff and then respringing. It finally took and I see the layouts I want on the lockscreen and infoshade.
