LockInfo is 3.0 Ready.

Give him a chance to update it. It worked great before ios4 and I'm sure he will get it working properly again. He updates it very frequently too.
 
He updated Lockinfo today, but I'm still getting the (no sender) and (no subject) bugs. Plus the Lockinfo overlay keeps appearing on the phone screen during calls.

Probably going to uninstall it until he gets it stable again.
 
Is peoples' weather updating at the correct intervals?

Mine will only update when hitting the refresh button.

You should be able to just go to the first post and hit edit and then hit Advanced and update the title. It worked for me at least on my threads...

1) The screen lags then works

2) The screen comes on, flashes right away, the comes back on for good.

3) If I try on/off on/off several times, one time the screen will not turn on again. I'll have to press it again to get it on.

If I uninstall activator everything works again.

So I was having this problem too, but I'll tell you what happened that I did that fixed it as I see you are very upset by this (so was I). I set an application to run when I double tapped the sleep button but only while at home screen or in application, not intending to fix this, but it does. LockInfo will always show up now if I double tap the sleep button if I'm not already running something. To see if there was a real fix, I set it to double tap being lock screen, this kind of works in that it will flash my lock screen for a second and then show lockinfo. Its not perfect, but it works nicely. Leads me to believe the cause of your problem is not lockinfo but activator, seems there needs to be a way to disable the double tap sleep but to truly fix this.

What I find more annoying, is that I double tap sleep button while lockscreen is on, it starts my program in the background, so once I unlock phone the program is running, which is not what I want at all. (theres not an option to "show lock screen" for activator as an action for double press sleep button)
 
should there be a status bar notification icon for push messages and emails like there is for text messages?

i'd like to use popup blocker for all prompts and just have the status bar to inform me the type of item i received and then check infoshade when in another app.

if not, has anyone added these?

'status notifier fix' from cydia. it also installs winterboard. winterboard is installed so you can use the old version icons in the ios3. i like the new icons better so i disabled winterboard from mobilesubstrate in sbsettings.
 
Is anyone having issues with their mail notification? I have new emails in my inbox but the mail notification isn't showing on the lockscreen. Was working fine yesterday. I've uninstalled/reinstalled the app, changed each setting in mail, rebooted each time, but just the mail notification isn't showing up. :eek:

thanks, works great!
just wish there was a status notifier for push messages like words with friends and facebook.

I'm having similar issues. They show up fine, but if I load any unread messages in the Mail app that are in folders other than the Inbox they show up as well. This is even with the option to show only messages in Inboxes enabled. Also, if I mark a message as unread it never shows back up in Lockinfo.

How do i update to the newest version (2.3.4.5.) im still on (2.3.3.0)?

I have a full license. don't see this version on Cydia?

I got 2.3.4.5 on the non-beta repo. After Cydia updates the database, click on Changes even if you don't see a red badge. There's a problem with Cydia not showing the badge even when there are updates.

Thanks for the reply, yes the issue is activator, I have already created an issue thread on the developers website. I have a thread on this issue. Sadly I refuse to install lockinfo because of activator. I think lockinfo is great at what it does. But it just feels jailbroken because of activator. My phone runs just as if it wasn't jailbroken without lockinfo, with the benefits of jailbreak of course. This is amazing to me and I would like to keep it that way.

Anyone that has this issue, please support my issue thread.

I was having issues with the no sender thing but it seems to have magically righted itself.

The one issue that's bugging me slightly is that lock weather is only displaying today's temps and not the full forecast. Wonder whether this is because I'm using the yahoo code override rather than the default iPhone weather...

yahoo code override did the exact same thing for me, resorted to using the default weather.
 
Using the latest beta here, and it seems to be running fine so far.

Mail being updated with both sender and subject the majority of the time.

This was one of the biggest things I missed about my BlackBerry (today theme) when I switched. Pretty slick and well worth the price.
 
Is there a way to disable the Apple native alerts, ie the one where you get a block saying missed called etc. The reason I ask is that I have lockinfo installed, but can't see the point of having missed call alerts etc on the lock screen
through lockinfo when you get an alert anyway. So now I end of with an alert over the lockinfo app.

I thought the app would over ride Apple's system, or am I doing something wrong?
