I just ordered one with 25% off + free ship. I hope I like it. In regards to the bluetooth, the Tech Support told me that it would be impossible for the keyboard to be solar powered and bluetooth at the same time. I'm not sure he is right about that.

how were you able to get one with 25% off i have a 50% code wouldnt work for me.

I'm seriously considering this keyboard. My Logitech DiNovo Edge has basically died, so I had to revert to the base wired Apple keyboard. I'm not a big fan of that keyboard. On the other hand, I'm still a bit wary of non-replaceable batteries after watching the battery in the DiNovo slowly die.

The Windows version of the K750 has a user-replaceable battery:

So I assume (I know:p) the Mac version will as well.

I have some older Logitech keyboards, so I may try the Trade-In program. I can get 20% off:

Since Steve Jobs isn't designing it, I suppose it will have a user-replaceable battery. :)

This is good news and make me want it even more. I looked at the trade in program, but it looks like they give the same discount regardless of what you trade in. This kind of sucks given how much that DiNovo Edge cost, but I guess it's better than sitting around gather dust.

This soo perfect for my hackintosh. I have lots of problem using bluetooth, probably due to incompatible bluetooth dongle, and also you can't use bluetooth keyboard to access BIOS stuff..

But for my macbook the usb dongle can be a bit of a hassle, but I have apple wireless keyboard so no problem.

And the solar thing? wow.

I pre-ordered one...I'm thinking this is listed at $20 cheaper than the PC version because it's a pre-order price. Once they're actually shipping they'll raise the price to be equal to the PC version. It doesn't make much sense to charge $20 less for essentially the same keyboard - except it's for Macs.

I'm using the PC version right now and as far as the complaints on the usb slot being wasted, at least for me, when the Mac Mini comes, (only 4 usb ports) my Dell LCD monitor has 4 more usb slots, so that should not be an issue for some, and I like the idea of not having to worry about the bluetooth connection going bad from time to time.

Other stuff I noticed ........

1. Typing on the solar is not an issue either. It keeps up with my 55 words per minute (I know, I'm slow).

2. My over head lighting (The silly looking 20 watt energy saver type) is just enough to show about 54-to 72 LUX depending where I sit. The light is over head and to the left on the ceiling about 5 feet away. The keyboard charges even when shut down.

3. User replaceable battery

4. Backlit would drain the battery big time and a reason it was left out I guess

5. Has two adjustable legs (Plastic) to raise the back end up a bit

I don't understand why they left out the lion layout.

Probaby because so many people still use leopard and snow leopard that it didn't make much sense to them also i personally don't really need the lion layout the old keyboard layout makes more sense to me.

OK, it came and I am typing this on it.

Keys look very similar to an Apple keyboard with similar stroke length, but are rough, not smooth like the Apple keyboard or any other Logitech keyboard I ever used. I am not yet used to the idea of spaces between the keys so this will take some getting used to.

The Volume keys and the transport keys (play/pause etc) are working but the Expose and Dashboard keys are not. Went into keyboard setup and unchecked the use as Regular F keys, but that did not fix it. Maybe it needs a restart.

THERE IS NO CAPSLOCK LIGHT EITHER.

These have to be the most pathetic legs ever to grace a keyboard. I am thinking they will be broken within a couple of months.

Any questions?

Thats one of the reason why I didn't get the K750. read some reviews about the really cheap feet. decided to go with the K800 instead, but I use it for my PC, not mac. I will say that it looks nicer than the K800 on youtube.

I have not been able to get LCC to recognize ANY Logitech product. It is junk from the word GO.

Getting more used to typing on this keyboard. Almost up to where I was on my K800 except for the SHIFT button. I have noticed that the keyboard slightly flexes when you are typing especially when using the upper row of letter and numbers.

Tried it laying flat without the legs, but didn't really like it. Will have to make a plan for when they break off. :(

I got mine today and I am extremely happy with it so far. Yes, there is no CAPS light and that is actually bad, but nothing I cannot live with. The keys have the same feeling as the Apple keyboard, but are a bit more hard and the tactile feedback is definitely better. The distance between the keys is large enough and when typing I make relatively few mistakes, even if I still haven't got used to the new keyboard yet. The keyboard lies higher than the Apple keyboard which is almost flat, but actually this is the way it should always be.

The Solar App works ok and displays the current status of the keyboard and the level of light coming to the keyboard. Cool stuff!

Another thing: At first the Mission Control button (F3) would only work if I also pressed the fn key. This article here describes exactly what you should do to restore the original functionality: http://logitech-en-emea.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/25854/kw/

Basically you will have to reset the Mission Control key options and then the key will work as expected. Overall I am happy with my new keyboard, even if I only have it for 5 hours. I am sure that time will tell if it is really as great as it looks for the moment.

I also love that there are no drivers involved here. Just plug it in and it works.

To correct the Mission Control/Exposé issue just follow the instructions here: http://logitech-en-emea.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/25854/kw/

Got mine today, opened the box and the 'enter' key piece is missing. I find it on the left side of the box. The outer box it came in had no bubble wrap inside for protection, but outer box didn't look damaged when I received it. I try to clip the enter key back in place, but it doesn't seat right and pops back out with minimal bumping.

So I call Logitech and get put on ignore for awhile; but as I'm at work, I give up on that and try to log in online, but Logitech website doesn't recognize the email/pass I had set up earlier, even though I know it was correct, so I make a new account. I still can't find any help in making an immediate return so try phone support again, and after about 10-15 minutes I get to talk with Chris. I tell Chris how the keyboard arrived and he sets up a return to ship it UPS back to Logitech for free (better be), and they'd 2-day ship a new keyboard to me when they receive the other one.

But first Chris tries to tell me that they'll send me a black keyboard - I quickly correct him, that the windows version is black, not the Mac version. He tries to tell me that the Mac version comes in different colors, so I have to explain the product to tech support person Chris, since I seem to know more about it than he does. I explain that there's different colors on the Mac keyboard, but only at the top, the rest of the keyboard is light colored. He finally finds the correct replacement keyboard.

I'm not impressed Logitech.

You just had some bad luck. Actually Logitech is known for quality products, but as with any piece of equipment, there will always be faulty products. The customer support should be more knowledgable though.

Do you need a specific software for it to work or you just plug the USB dongle, pair the keyboard and everything works?
