Great suggestion, I sent the seller a few pictures and reached out.. Unfortunately there isn't enough demand for him to make angle mounts for this Doorbell yet. He did say if there is sufficient demand he would reconsider. Please reach out to Eric @ ETSY if you're interested.

Thank you BeerStalker!

Anyone getting missed motion notifications? Had UPS deliver a package and it didn’t record or notify me
Yes I have been missing some too. Seems like most are when it is darker (I do keep my porch light on), but have had a few missed during the day too. I have settings to record for animals, vehicles, and people as opposed to all motion. I wonder if it is motion detection issue, or a camera issue? Besides that the only other issue is with the exposure flashing. Sometimes the sky is just gray enough that it will turn up the exposure then it is too bright and turn down. HomeKit thinks an animal is detected...No response from Logitech though

Hi guys,

Anyone could shed light if the Circle View doorbell would be compatible with the attached doorbell. Ive submitted tickets but no response from Logitech yet so i thought one of you may know. Thanks in advance

Quick look at the website says 10VA min. Looks like you only have 6VA transformer.

Finally picked one up today and had the professional tech come out. Unfortunately when he wired it in to our existing doorbell wires (just a standard push button) the led just stayed blinking. As soon as we plugged it into the wall it turned green and connected in the home app. He said that meant our wiring isn't powerful enough.

From what I can gather I should have enough power for this (brand new house) but maybe I am missing something?

I did find it odd that there isn't a wire attached to the one labeled transformer, but Front & Rear (we do not have a rear doorbell).

Did the "professional" not look for the actual transformer to verify what kind of power supply it had?

Did he put the old doorbell back together like that? Does it work? In my experience your doorbell should not work without a wire hooked up to the transformer terminal.

If you don't have a rear doorbell the wires would normally be hooked up to the transformer and front terminals.

Somehow our existing doorbell does work in that configuration. When I disconnected the wire from the Rear and placed it on the transformer and re-installed the Logitech, I got a blinking white LED and our chime started chiming every 30 seconds.

For those with an unused mount (either flat or angled), what is the farthest distance between the screw holes? ie: the distance of the arrow marked in red on this screenshot. I moved into a place where I can replace the doorbell but can only use the existing screw anchors because the area behind the doorbell in between those screws is removed as well. The current screw anchors are roughly 3.25 inches apart. I'm worried I won't be able to use this doorbell if it's less than that.

My camera just stopped recording for a couple of days. Still has red dot and stream and allow recording is enabled for home and away

I wish the comments on here were more reassuring... Seems like it may be better to wait for a V2 or an update at this point though...

No issues here, few adjustments and it works great!

I have made a video alert cutoff changes a few times. I have excluded the street and then also the sidewalk. Otherwise it’s been flawless and awesome. Love the video alerts on my phone and Apple tv’s

Why? Posts here mean absolutely sweet FA in the grand scheme of things. Logitech will have sold thousands of these things and only those people with issues are likely to post here.

I hope they come out with a wireless doorbell version soon. I’m ready to move on from my intercom model, but I have absolutely no intention of allowing Google or Amazon access to my doorbell footage.

Mainly due to my potentially unique situation. I already own a video doorbell without a monthly subscription, which is why the Logitech Circle View seemed like a great option. However, I keep seeing new reports of moments not being captured and/or other connectivity issues.

No connectivity issues here but I have solid WiFi on front porch.

This post seems pretty dead, so I thought I would revive it.

I recently installed this doorbell, and for the most part it has been solid. I initially set it up in my garage, then powered it off and installed at my front door. At first I was having connectivity problems, which I think was due to connecting to 5.4 in my garage and trying to maintain that at my front door. After a power cycle, it hopped on 2.4 and I've had no problems. HKSV seems solid, and while customization is fairly limited in HomeKit, it does give you some options.

Only thing I can't figure out is why I get notifications on one Apple 4k TV but not another. But I'm pretty pleased so far.

Go into the settings app for your Apple TV. Each tv has its own camera settings and you have to configure each one.

They really need to fix the firmware in this. Every month or two the device stops triggering the inside chime. Only thing that fixed it is a complete reset and repairing with HomeKit.

I have that too. I fix it by simply rebooting the doorbell (ie take it off the plate and then back on). I haven’t had it since the last major tvOS update.
