Logitech today announced the launch of several new mice and keyboards that have been developed for use with Apple's Macs, including Logitech's first mechanical keyboard that has been optimized for the Mac.

The MX Mechanical Mini for Mac Keyboard has a keyboard layout designed for Macs, with tools to customize shortcuts with Logi Options+. The keyboard uses Tactile Quiet low-profile switches for a quiet typing experience, and the keys are backlit. It comes in Space Gray or Pale Gray, and it can connect to three Apple devices with the Easy Switch feature.

Logitech is also making the K380 Multi-Device Keyboard for Mac available in a new blueberry color that joins existing colors like white, black, and rose. The K380 is designed to be space-saving for use wherever you are, and it is able to work with Macs, iPads, and iPhones.

As for mice, Logitech is debuting the MX Master 3S for Mac and the Lift for Mac. The MX Master 3S has a MagSpeed Electromagnetic wheel that can scroll through 1,000 lines per second, and it has an adjustable DPI that can be set between 1,000 and 8,000 for precise work on high-resolution displays. Available in Space Gray or Pale Gray, the mouse uses Quiet Clicks, and like all of Logitech's new products, it is able to connect to three devices at once.

The Lift for Mac Mouse is an ergonomic mouse that is meant to place the hand in a natural handshake position at a 57 degree angle. Logitech says that this design puts less pressure on the wrist during the day, and keeps the arm and upper body in a more natural position. The mouse is ideal for people with small to medium-sized hands.

Logitech's new products are available from the Logitech website. The MX Mechanical Mini for Mac is priced at $150, the K380 in Blueberry is priced at $40, the MX Master 3S for Mac is priced at $100, and the Lift for Mac is priced at $70.

Relevant article because Logitech's Mac keyboards and mice are really superior to Apple's.
Happy owner of a K811 keyboard and MX Anywhere 3 mouse, I haven't tested this new line of products but I hope the quality is on par with the previous series - still solid after 3 years of usage.

Can these be used with a MacBook Pro on initial startup?
By this I mean for first logon, I had issues with the Logi MX Keys Mini where it only works after initial logon, and as my MacBook is in a vertical dock this is inconvenient. Think from memory it is down to the Bluetooth implementation?
I had been hoping to reduce number of keyboards on my desk but have ended up keeping Apple keyboard for Mac and Logi for work laptop.

REviews of the mechanical is: Not a bad keyboard, but there is a few things that

1. The switches are not hot swappable. If you go for tactile your are stuck with tactile
2. The keys are not that good. They wear over time and doesn`t feel premium. By wearing out it means they loose theyr matt feel with time.
3. The keys are swapable, exept for the spacebar. It is not a common size or have the stabilizer in the same place as the most common ones.

Other than that:
1. The battery life is extremly good. («Your keys will wear out before the battery runs out» was one reviewers quote)
2. It`s still a good keyboard, even with it`s shortcomings
3. Connectivity is extremly good and the multi device support is a great plus.

This would be great ... if it can be plugged in to a USB port rather than using Bluetooth. This suggests to me that it can't:

"FileVault might be enabled on your macOS computer, which could prevent you from entering your password at start or reboot when connected to Bluetooth."

Give me a wired keyboard and mouse any day. No battery to be manufactured and 100% uptime and connection. 10x prefer wired desktop peripherals. Would love Apple to bring them back and make a “pro” wired keyboard with a full compliment of ports on the rear edge. Reaching to the back of your keyboard to connect an SD Card or a USB stick sure beats hunting around the back on a iMac by the wall.

Still Logitech Option+ is terrible. Can't assign profiles to Crossover apps, has memory leaks... I suggest to anyone to use SteerMouse instead.

I have made a video on my channel too (in Italian) but you can see SteerMouse in action. This software saved my mental health.

I think my brain is so hard-wired to the standard Mac keyboard format and layout that anything different would probably cause me much grief and frustration to re-learn my finger placement. Small changes I can live with. Moving the Fn key to other side of the space-bar. Urgggg. Instant deal breaker.

This might have been more useful when I needed to get a new keyboard about 3-4 weeks ago. I got the standard MX Keys Mechanical

I use FileVault and it seems to work; I use my MX keys to authenticate then login. I think this changed with Ventura

Interesting - this was what was holding me back from getting the MX Keys - both of my Macs have FileVault enabled, so I am currently using a wired keyboard through my docking station. But if I could use the MX Keys to log in to either Mac from start up, that would be a better keyboard.

What is the difference between MX Master 3s and MX Master 3s for Mac? Shouldn't that be just a software thing?

Sorry, Logitech. No wired mode, no sale.
(Yes, none of these flagship models work in wired mode. And yes, Logitech brings in sloths to test the lag.)
