I like the idea of being able to switch between devices easily. The keyboard looks great, but I cannot seem to find a mouse that supports this which will work well for those of us who are left-handed.
Yep, I have an Apple magic mouse and the ergonomics are horrendous. Unusable. I just bought the MX Master 3 and it's incredible.Might have to check out that mouse. The Apple Magic Mouse is just killing me from an ergonomic standpoint i.e. holding the low height thing between your thumb and 3 fingers while constantly keeping your pointer finger hovering above the surface (always mindful about accidentally brushing it against the surface). There's absolutely nothing about holding that mouse that's relaxing on your wrist. At least it's not shaped like a hockey puck...
Which kind of makes the multi-computer aspect more difficult.
The regular MX mice never worked for me on Mac. Seeing this is an instant purchase. I just hope the compatibility is much better since it's Mac specific.
I guess this explains why Apple has not yet shipped their Magic Keyboard with backlighting. They would consider this a poor user experience for the battery to die so quickly (as opposed to the months it lasts now).
All I want is the same Magic Keyboard I have now, but backlit.
At least for the original MX Keys the backlight comes on when your fingers are over the keyboard. Which really helps with battery life. Here is a 30 second demo.
I use one of the older versions and really like it. It's small enough to carry around and easy to type on; especially compared to my iPad's on screen keyboard.I don’t get the circular keys. Yeah, it looks cute and perfect for teenage bloggers, but maybe not so much for professionals who need accuracy.
Thing is Logitech have never quite got this right. The proximity sensor is cool, but the keyboard doesn’t remember the brightness setting and instead has some sort of auto brightness function that keeps resetting it to max. As a result it’s almost useless to have the backlighting because it drains the battery so fast.

I’m confused... This products already exist for a long time, right?
I mean I knew all this keyboards and mouse for at least a year. What’s new? A software update?
From the article:That’s what I thought. These have been around since last year. What’s new?
I think the versions you're referencing were the PC version that could be used with a Mac/iPad.Logitech today announced a new mouse and keyboard built for Macs, called the Logitech MX Master 3 and Logitech MX Keys for Mac. These new accessories are updates that have been optimized specifically for Apple's MacBook and iMac computers.

They really just changed the colour scheme of the MX Master 3 and made it into an entirely new product “for Mac” ?
Same here - I love Logitech mice & came to Mac having used them for many years on a PC. However, the lag is dreadful & makes it a little unpleasant to use. I still like it better than the magic mouse, though.I have the old MX Keys keyboard and it works REALLY well with both Windows and Mac computers.
I've found that Logitech's Bluetooth Mice lag badly in Windows and Mac OS tho. (MX Anywhere 2s and MX Vertical). I'm using a vertical with my MacBook right now and it's not pleasant to use because of the lag.
The MX Keys keyboard has been very good (bluetooth wise).
