Lol does anybody use their keyboard backlight?

I let it turn on whenever it wants to, but I never look at the keyboard so it's pretty much useless to me.

anyone know why my late mbp keyboard light wont turn on? when i click the buttons it gives me an (X), what happend? thanks

If the room is too bright it won't turn on. At least that's how it works for me. I think you have to change it to not automatically adjust brightness to be able to play with it at all times.

It won't turn on unless it's dark. The light sensors for the pre unibody MBPs are in the speaker grilles. Cover them up and the keyboard will turn on.

Too much ambient lighting.

I don't know about late mbps but on mine it will only let you adjust the keyboard backlight when it is dark enough for you to need it. Try covering your speaker grills then trying to adjust (if that is where the light sensor is)

it was night time and i didnt have any lights on lol
