I don't vote, I hate them all.
This is Hypocrisy at it's best! If you hate all of the major parties then maybe you should support one of the smaller ones. If you don't vote then you're not interested in Democracy. If you don't care about Democracy and freedom then you shouldn't complain.
Natural lighting? Heaven forbid!
Also, I didn't know the the Upper West Side Apple Store was their common design? Here I thought it was relatively unique.
But you keep moving those goal posts.
It could be worse. Think about how Charlie Brown must feel every time he lands on his back after Lucy pulls the football away from him when he tries to kick it.

Get over yourself. Amazes me with all going on the people who have nothing better to do.
So I have no right to feel outraged that people's lives and businesses are ruined by these cretins....
Sure you can complain about that.
But if you can't be bothered getting involved with the democratic process, it's a bit rich complaining when a party you don't like gets elected.
What I said was I was disappointed Cameron didn't come back and make some get tough decisions
I don't vote for any parties once again I have no interest in them
The thing is, a good number of those extra officers have been drafted in from other forces around the country – a number have been sent down from our local force, for example.- He upped London police from less than 7000 to over 16000
- He authorised them to use rubber bullets of necessary
and as a result the city was pretty peaceful yesterday. Seems to have worked.
I know eyes are obviously on the capital and without a doubt the rioting there has been more widespread than elsewhere, but I hope that forces in other cities haven't been left shortchanged in their ability to deal with trouble.
Yeah keep on having a pop at me guys, I will
Vote when I feel there's someone worth voting for.
Meanwhile I'm gonna worry about my family (who thankfully haven't been caught up in it yet) /other people's ruined lives
Local media here says that riot officers have been sent to London from Hull, and looking through the BBC's live feed there's mention of South Yorkshire Police sending officers to London, Manchester and Nottingham, North Yorkshire to Manchester and London, and all eight Scottish forces have officers south of the border too. While I could see the justification for pulling police into London from the leafy home counties, it would have been stupid to take personnel from Northern cities - and I really doubt they'd do that.
I hope so too.
Are you wanting to see the army being used with live bullets? Is that it?
I hope so too.

It is surprising that rubber bullets etc. didn't get deployed last night - especially in the North.
What exactly is it that you wanted to see? The response has to be strong, but they can't risk going overboard.

Did I say that? No!
Get off my back man. Geez this forum is ruined by a few people.
I merely said I was hoping for something better, what? I don't know.
You know, at this point I wouldn't mind that. I have no sympathy for the people out there doing such horrible things and if it takes live bullets to stop it then so be it. The point is they're not being forced to riot, they're not protesting, they're just simply stealing while making awful excuses for it and its entirely their fault if they get hurt. I'm fed up of the attitudes of these people, as are many others and either way people will complain about the government's handling (as I am now). They're being too soft, only actually considering rubber bullets now, that should have been done on the first or second night to make it clear that we won't tolerate it. But instead what happened was the police were shown to be outnumbered and thus we had plenty of copycat riots - wonderful! If it was clear from day one that anyone going out to riot/loot could be shot (with rubber or live bullets) I highly doubt there'd be so many copycat riots because these people are cowards. They don't go out and do this all the time, they're only doing it now because of the crowd mentality, the safety in numbers.
I'm all for peace and preservation of life but there's a line, and I think its disgusting that these people are allowed to do this with little concern, and at best (for us) they'll get a nice cell in jail, paid for by the taxpayer. Wonderful.
Politicians rely on the apathy of people like you to do whatever they want. Voting should be compulsory.
