Totally agreed. I'm not sure why people rated your post down.

Maybe because those "morons" represent <1% of the population of the communities that you are quite happy to see them torch? Awesome plan, let all the honest, innocent people suffer just so long as the problem gets contained in a poor area. Where do you people come from?

Natural lighting? Heaven forbid!

Also, I didn't know the the Upper West Side Apple Store was their common design? Here I thought it was relatively unique.

But you keep moving those goal posts.

Thank you for reposting my images - it really supports my case about Apple's use of energy-wasteful glass.

Please explain where the goal posts were before and after I "moved" them. Or can you?

Sad thing is they seem to be using the LA RIOT method.
Let them loot until they tire themselves out BS.

How about a better solution, air drop in a bunch of Vodka. Don't tell them about the Visine you mixed in. People who spend all day in the bathroom don't get much of a chance to burn stuff down.

Dont get me wrong I am a complete Apple fan BUT Im sick of people worrying about the Apple Store. In all seriousness you are worrying about one store, owned by a company which currently has more cash that the US. Fixing the Apple store in London would be pocket change for Apple. SO Forget the Apple Store... Seriously!

Be more worried about the lives of residents, livelihood of small business owners and the masses of people who have lost their homes. Many of these people will not have the money to put it right unlike the huge corportations.

SOmeone needs to learn the meaning of the term "sarcasm". ;)

They are obviously cracking a joke. This is an apple products forum, so it certainly seems fitting to zero in on the apple store. This doesn't necessarily mean we are insensitive. I am sure many of us find the riots deplorable, but it doesn't mean we have to spend every waking minute bemoaning this fact. Take a look at the lighter side of things and chill out, man. Life's bitter enough as is. :D

Thought you got rid of GUNS so the GOV can protect you?
Oh wait that isn't working is it!

FYI, we never got "rid of" guns. There are still forces with firearms that can be deployed, if necessary.

However, I don't believe killing the rioters is the correct cause of action.

You also don't believe in protecting your family from rape and death from these thugs.
Hope your not a parent.

Excuse me?

Please detail where I said this. Things may be different in the US, where everyone owns a firearm, but over here I don't need to kill someone in order to protect family or property.

OH really what do you do to protect them? Tickle them?
I could never sit there and let someone rape a loved one or kill a loved one and watch and say "oh well the GOV will help me".
These kids rioting where raised by the GOV, Taught by the GOV and now you see what the GOV has raised.
What I am saying is people need to protect themselves and stop relying on our GOV to do it for us. I really don't know how you can say call the Police? If that is the answer then call the Police and get them to clean up the riot.

These riots are a symptom of the governments austerity measures. Do you think these riots would take place in affluent areas where people have steady jobs or a future to look forward to? Many of these people are mindless opportunist idiots but also there is an underlying hatred of the police and the goverment because they are corrupt.

There are some very serious doubts about the police's story on the shooting of the man which sparked the violence.

Problem is, the statistics show that in the US close to 75% of people killed with a gun, are killed by someone in their family. And that about 12% of gun deaths are by a stranger (or a 'thug' in your terms.) (The other 12% are killed by friends and acquaintances) It is so blindingly obvious to the rest of the developed world that tight gun controls decrease gun deaths by a huge margin. Which accounts for why the US has something like 10x the per capita death by gun rate of the next worst developed nation. And a higher crime rate.

Do you know anything? Quit being so sick. If a loved one was being raped or killed then I sure as hell wouldn't just stand there. Use your common sense; anybody would use any and all attempts to remove such person from your property.

Just because I refuse to kill somebody if an alternative is available (which there is: get the intruder out) you're labelling me as a criminal. I don't own a gun, and I don't desire to ever own one. You could easily cause sudden unconsciousness without slaughtering the intruder, leaving plenty of time to call for emergency assistance. I also point you the poster above mine, detailing the fact that, in the US, any old moron who shouldn't be trusted with a thin stick let alone a gun can easily source one (a gun, that is, not the thin stick).

I don't have any comment on your other statement. It's not like any successive government in this country, irrespective of political party, has ever tried to tackle issues like this by getting to the core.

Yeah so if we take guns away people won't kill anymore
I seem to keep reading a lot about bombs killing people over there and we took those away too.

Well I am glad you can tell your son mommy is dead because we are going to rehabilitate the intruder.
