Lonely teens

That is the exact opposite of what goes on at my school. The older girls go out with the younger dudes! So many of my friends that are girls went out with dudes younger than themselves. Personally I could not do this at all. That is why I'm a little older than my girlfriend. :cool: Also, being older makes me feel like I have more power for some reason... ;)
 
A lot of my friends and I also hang out with seniors too. I don't really think much of it. I mean we do have a lot of junior friends as well. I actually do not want high school to end because it has been the best time of my life. Anyways, if you're wondering why I'm home on a Friday night, it's cause I just had surgery so now I'm stuck texting my friends and watching the oc...

Oh boy. I may not be so lonely after all...

I bumped into my Ex-Girlfriend (who I despised) at a gig I was playing at today... and well, we got talking and now I'm in love with her again D:

But this time I think it may work... dammit... I hate myself for doing this again, but I'm happy that we may be getting back together.

Oh well lol. It'll be ok in the end, I guess. lol. Optimism time! :D

There is hope for all teenage geeks out there! yay!
 
Older guys at my school always date younger girls. Almost never the other way around.

However, when like a senior dates a freshman or sophomore you can discern that the senior is a complete loser and possibly a future pedophile and that the freshman/sophomore has few friends and is a complete attention whore. They're usually depressed too. Thats just speaking in generalities though.

Optimism and relationships are not good things hahahah. Sorry I just have this friend that goes out with a girl for like 2-3 weeks, breaks up, he gets super depressed, and then wants to make it work out... even if the girl is a slut. Good luck though.

Update on the girl.... I went to a party, it was all graduated seniors, except me (going into my senior year this fall). I think she spent more time with me then with her BF. They had a few snuggly moments but then she would always look at me.

Back when I was in high school (god, I never imagined I would actually be saying that), the only reason why I'd be wanting to go out with someone older than me is because all the guys around me were immature ****s asking me for porn and warez, who were also acting extremely juvenile when it came to relationships and sex. I actually thought my first relationship back when I was like in middle school was way more mature than what I saw going on a couple years after that ended with my friends and other people my age. And of course, none of the older guys wanted to date girls who were too young, cause some of us were pretty immature too.

Anyway, point being I'm college-aged now, and I still come across people my age who act very stupidly whenever relationships come up but not as many: as people grow older that sort of goes away. Just give it time.


(fwiw, my current fwb is around 4 years older than me. we get along just fine, except for his massive hate of Apple and my massive hate of his employer (big greedy game developer), but we can deal :) ).

Tell me about it. Sometimes I catch myself referring to all my high school stuff in the present tense. Oh well that will probably be over with when I start college.

im berely 18, turned it last month.

I guess you can say my High School is as much as some of you have described it, most of our girls were interested in way older people (and usually went out with people from outside school)

I managed to go out with one girl, but I didnt feel feelings for her so I broke it off, dont feel quite right going out with someone you dont know what you feel..

Hopefully UCR will bring new adventures, High School seemed pretty dull at times... :p

im not really lonely but i dont have a girlfriend so yea i dunno if a girl pops up in my school that i like i will prolly ask her out! im 15 and going to be a sophomore. i did get asked out at the mall the other day by this one chick that was pretty n all but she was just kinda i dunno weird.

i really dont think a girlfriend would work out though because i usually work out at the local y from about right after school till 6 pm central. after that i need to do my homework so maybe she can work out with me? ;) that would be kinda hot.

but yea i dont think i need a girlfriend though because i do get to meet girls at parties all the time like one time we were playing 7 minutes in heaven and i got to go with this really hot columbian chick and get this... a hot jewish chick to be honest i never thought she was jewish cause i never saw a hot jew before not trying to be racist but seriously never saw a hot jew.

no dont take me wrong im sure jews appeal to most people but most jewish chicks and dudes here in minnesota that i know actually look like the stereotypical jew... huge nasty jew nose pubic hair on their head bushy eyebrows n huge chin.

im not saying i hate jews its just that almost every jew ive seen has looked like that im pretty sure its just my personal experience and there are a lot of hot jews out there. :p

theres ugly people and hot people of every race.

haha, in high school I used to be one of those guys who would date younger girls, but now that Im in college i tend to go after the older girls. I guess in HS it used to be that I'd get really sick of the people in my grade, the people who I grew up with for over a decade and the younger girls were just something new, and I wouldn't have to worry about them graduating or older guys like I would with older girls.

Now that I'm in college, i'm interested in more things about a girl than just being different. Age doesn't really matter as much as their relative maturity level now, i guess, and man, i never really realized just how immature we all were when it came to relationships until I started meeting girls who weren't completely nuts.

hey guys i was wondering what you thought of dating the foreign exchange student cuz thats what i did last year i dated this hot chick from switzerland she was gorgeous and she was blonde but the thing that sucked was she didnt know how to dance to rap so we just sat down the whole time and talked. :)

people kept on calling me manwhore because of dating the foreign exchange student but they were just jealous. :D

Because she was the only girl one all the others were guys. one of the guys was from germany i think two of them were from brazil and another was from like japan.
