I've been looking for something like this for my iPad. Great app by outward appearances. I like how I can link a task to one of my contacts. Much more convenient than my company's customer management software. Hopefully this app will help me make more money. Time will tell.

I was waiting on 2do (have it on my iPhone) but there is no estimated date for an iPad version so I'm going with todo.

I can wait. Still waiting for the actual iPad itself anyway. ;)

Seeing how nice the 2Do iPhone interface is, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

Toodledo does in fact support Subtasks like projects and checklists as long as you are a Toodledo Pro user.

I bought the Toodledo App because I was unsure if ToDo was coming out. I have the Pro account (with sub tasks) and this is great for access anywhere (although I'd be lost without my iPhone). Looks like it's time to switch back on my iPhone and change to ToDo on my iPad.

I see some talk about syncing between 2 different apps, but how easy is syncing between ToDo on the iPad and ToDo on the iPhone? Is it just an automatic thing once it's setup?

Another thing that would be cool would be to be able to open corkulous and have a board where you can see all your tasks from ToDo.

I saw something about a desktop sync, but the way I'm doing it is linking them both to my free toodledo.com account. Seems to be working. I'm not sure yet if I like the binder thing or if it's too cutesy, but the app does seem as good a GTD app as toodledo. Toodledo's advantage being much cheaper for a universal app, but without the ring binder metaphor.

I'll try that if it works good, thanks

Just tested the project and list functionality, and they don't seem to work with toodledo.com's free service, they show up as regular items on the other device. Not sure if it would be different with the premier membership. Dang, I really wanted to avoid being tied to a desktop for syncing, I like it to update on the fly. I guess I can continue to live without subtasks.

Edit: wait before you flame me. Had a vague memory, checked and realized this was all covered on the previous page. Sorry, huge launch at work this week, memory suffering. :) (basically toodledo paid membership will do subtasks, sounds like.)

Yes and sync subtasks to and from all devices.

So before I purchase ToDo, I just want to confirm you can organize tasks by Project? I have not seen this in any of the screenshots.

Also, how would this sync to Outlook using the Appigo sync program? Would different project show up as Categories?

Ok thanks, I guess the grocery list is set up as a project.

I really wished Appigo made a desktop version. I would love to use ToDo but I do not like any of the desktop clients it syncs with.

But, that is one very nice looking iPad app.

I see Appigo updated both the iPhone and iPad apps today, the big change is that they no longer support RTM (Remember the Milk). Also if you are interested in the iPhone App, it is on sale for half price and with this version you must have iPhone 3.0 or later installed on your iPhone.

The iPhone app is awesome, I've been using it for almost 2 years and sync with the Toodledo account (Premiere).

I do prefer Things. I have requested some updates and they indeed make them, they are great people behind their software, and they do listen to whatever suggestions are made. The guy who developed iGTD for Mac OSX is working for them. The Things syncing is the way every Mac and a mobile device should be synced, hopefully :apple: will do something to MobileMe sometime in a galaxy far away....

Don't you HAVE to connect to a desktop app to sync Things?

Their pricing is also nuts.

There was an update released today for the App. Check your updates. They added more languages if I recall?

Agreed. I have Things on my MBP and on my iPhone, but I was pretty amazed when I saw how they priced their iPad app. I'm actually trying to see if I could get ToDo and Toodledo (sp?) working across my devices. There is just no way I'm going to pay $20 for iPad Things app, when Appigo (and others) offer comparable/better product for less money. I will support a good product, but not greed.

Same here, Things looks great, but too expensive. I am liking ToDo, and I only paid 2.99 for the iPad version and now 4.99 for the iPhone. I was using the free version, but figured I'd upgrade while it was on sale. I have been using Toodledo's free sync, trying to decide if the 14.99/yr is worthwhile, it's still pretty inexpensive, and I like the fact that subtasks will stay that way with the Pro version.

ToDo is also getting close to pushing me over the edge to a toodledo.com paid membership, so I guess it's a win for both companies.

ToDo snycs with iCal

How did you get it for $2.99? Just curious.

You fared better than I did. I paid $4.99 for the iPad version. Then I saw the iPhone version on sale for $4.99 so I bought that too. I was using, 2Do, but they have been lagging on releasing an iPad version. They won't even reveal an estimated release date for it. So, I deleted 2Do from my iPhone after downloading ToDo.
Did you know ToDo syncs with iCal? There are instructions for it here:

Maybe it was 4.99, I was thinking it was on sale for 2.99, but I bet it was 4.99. Either way, it was worth it. Thanks for the link for the iCal sync, I was wondering about that.
