I couldn't think of anything worse than wearing a watch or wearing glasses with a screen. Small is useless what we need is a bigger iPad and a wider iPhone. Thinner is hopeless as its harder to hold. Like the iPhone 5 is getting too thin I wish my iPhone 5 was as thick as my 4s was.
I just hope that Tim Cook doesn't make the iDoll look like Steve Wozniak.![]()
I don't think we should expect glasses and watches to become 'the next revolution', but more like an addition to the current smartphone. They're main advantage is that they're closer to you, you're already wearing you're glasses and your watch is just one look away, thus eliminating the 'getting your phone out of your pocket'-interaction which can become tiresome. This means they're perfect for serving as a second display along with some minimalistic control options. But the phone should be the hub.
I wish people would become more intimate with people like they used to be. I am up to my neck in technology and loving it for the most part in what it allows me to do, but I can't say I don't witness in me and others, especially younger folk, a tendency to be more intimate with objects than with living things, and that's something I really don't like. How technology puts another layer between us and the world that's not always helpful.
Just because some wacko (and yeah you can be a multimillionaire and a wacko, more so than not actually) says I need to be excited that my pencil case will be intimate with me so they can sell me some new crap doesn't mean I must get excited.
OK, I get why the ladies are smiling, but why the heck is that guy so happy in the 2nd to last pic? The expression on her face is saying to him: you are now worthless to me.![]()
....if Apple released a Bluetooth vibrator that could sync with an iPhone for phone sex, they wouldn't be able to make them fast enough.
No no no...we all went to gutter with talk of sex toys and BS![]()
We get it... you want it bigger, wider and thicker.

Steve Jobs is the only iDoll for Apple fans.

Off topic. This thread is about vibrators.
Yeah, he should be really worried about Intuit.

(Disclaimer: I work for Intuit. Was at this town hall meeting in person, too.)
I think this comment is overinflated.
Pacemaker with an App for stats ? Bluetooth speakers in the shoulders of your favorite jacket ? Pijamas with vibrate motors to wake you up without waking the wife ? Toothbrush that monitors your brushing habits and texts you suggestions ?

Have you used quickbooks at all? They have made changes. They're definitely not standing still...
But the first thing that Steve jobs did when he got back to apple? Killed all the products that matter less
As I recall, there wasn't much of a personal computer market when the first Apple computer was released.
Anyways I have used quickbooks, and find it to be pretty darn good at what it does, although it needs refinement in places. My post was directed at your comment, not at Intuit. "Oh there's no market, so why bother" defines the American business attitude. The typical American CEO chases consumer feelings rather than creating new markets. It's what gave us the glut of SUVs that nearly doomed the Detroit automakers, and it's the reason why companies like Apple stand out among American businesses.
Especially since nobody under 70 wears a watch.
"Nobody" is a big word. I am under 50 and I wear a watch. And it is analog.

Intuit Chairman Bill Campbell has been on Apple's Board of Directors since Steve Jobs took over as CEO in 1997. In a town hall meeting at Intuit headquarters, Campbell spoke with Intuit CEO Brad Smith about a number of topics including how to make a product great, what makes the best managers, and more.
Looking towards the future, Campbell didn't mention future Apple products specifically, but he did point to another new product -- Google Glass -- as a blueprint for the future. From Bloomberg Businessweek:
Campbell also praised Tony Fadell's Nest thermostat, as well saying technology managers should act as "editors", mentioning Steve Jobs and Twitter cofounder Jack Dorsey specifically.
Apple is reported to be working on a smart watch, exactly the sort of "intimate" device that Campbell is referring to.
