Lol, fine...
"Techs" know that HP makes a fine server.
However, CONSUMERS know that HP makes a craptastic tablet, creaky shoddy notebooks, mostly really bad (at the home use level) printers w/ overpriced ink & annoying useless bundled software.
Sorry if that offends you, but it's the truth.

Yep, for work I am forced to use an enterprise HP laptop and it, uh, isn't the best experience.

iPad failed to lead in a "Post-PC" world, with consistent decreased sales in the past 2-3 years, and education market ditching the toy in place for more capable/practical machines such as chromebooks.

On a personal note, I tried doing stuff a bit more complex than just facebook/safari/games etc on iPad, and it failed miserably. I really wanted it to work, but after after 5 years, it seems Apple has no vision for this.
Actually the only reason iPad sales are down is because people are keeping them for 2, 3 , even 4 years. They have almost the same longevity of a computer. I would hardly call the fastest adopted piece of tech since the DVD player a failure.......

Yup, it was faster than any piece of consumer electronics in history. But some people will call anything Apple does a failure. Just let them have their universally optimised (ahem, cough) Windows systems and be happy that there's a choice for everyone. Even if some make very much the wrong choices* ;)

*I feel I can be qualified to poke fun at the cruddy, awful, Windows 10, optimised for any device my left foot. Because I do have a Windows tablet (and 15 years of owning, working with, programming for and fixing Windows things before I came to my senses) Albeit the Windows one is plugging a hole in the bottom of a cardboard box (true) And yes, it's all very much tongue in cheek. :p

It *is* a giant iPod Touch, and that's why it's really, really awesome.

It's basically a transportable webbrowser/kids-entertainment-device with a screen large enough to make it somewhat enjoyable. That it is very transportable is the only reason I have one, so I don't have to drag my 15" Macbook Pro around the planet for simple web browsing and reading.
