Looking for a new watch...Advice/Ideas?

Great thread. I was following it while it was active...... I didn't have anything to post at the time, but it got me thinking about getting a new watch.

Today, I was at a mall, and ended up getting a Tissot PRC 200 after casually browsing a watch store. It was just too nice and the price was just too good for me to pass up.

Here it is:

Great watch, I own the same one with a white face. I've had it for 2.5 years and have had no problems and still get compliments on it all the time. I think I may pick up a new one sometime in the near future or if I have something to celebrate (graduation and new job are in a few months) I may step it up to an Omega, but I promise you, this Tissot will still be worn a majority of the time.

Congrats on the new watch Surely, looks great! When I was still looking for my watch the Tissot PRC 200 and PRS 200 both caught my eye, they're really sharp.

I'm really happy with it. I went with the PRC 200 vs. the PRS 200 because I wanted a larger face and didn't want another watch with a timer bezel on it. I think that the PRC 200 is sharper and much more classic-looking. At first, I didn't like the yellow chrono hands, but then I couldn't imagine the watch without them.

That's great to hear. Tissot has a great reputation, so it's good to hear from someone who is still happy with their watch.

I know you already bought one OP, but near your price range is the tag heuer formula 1 at costco. Saw them for 449 or so.
