Haven't looked in a while, but noticed that prices have finally come down. Finally acceptable. Ordered with Swiftunlocks. Took 3 days.

So what is the best choice ATTUnlocker or Swiftunlocks? Trying to get mine done and there is a $10 difference between the two. Just looking for the most reliable.

From reading this thread, one thing is for sure, YMMV with any of these services. What I can say is that I used swift and had no problems.

I personally went with attunlocker. It was done in 6 business days and I recieved a $10 credit for leaving a review on trustPilot. So $40 wasn't too bad for an unlock.

After giving up on trying at least a few dozen times to request AT&T to unlock my iPhone 6+ using their portal, I decided to just pay $40 to swiftunlocks.com for their factory unlock service. I paid on Friday and it was unlocked this morning (Tuesday morning). Highly recommended...

Thanks for the responses! Going to give it a shot with Swift! Will report back with results.

Report if you see the "Congratulations your iPhone has been unlocked" message message too, or if it just works with another sim.

Did you see the "Congratulations your iPhone has been unlocked" message or did the other sim just work?

I swapped it w/ my Verizon sim and connected it to iTunes and received the Congratulations message in iTunes.

Samunlocks and chronicunlocks are also other two good providers for unlock services, do check them out as well if needed.

I had 3 iPhone 5's to unlock. I did them myself sending the form in to ATT. 2 of them unlocked on the restore. The third didn't - getting an email from Att saying I was military and they would not unlock it. I'm not military.
I've tried twice on this third phone, both times taking about 2 weeks to get the rejection letter. Sigh.
Should I take it to an ATT store?

I'm not sure if they help in stores, and you always have the paid services offered by some of the good sellers as talked about in these threads.

Well, I have no real reason to unlock, so not wanting to spend the hundred dollars. It may add some value selling, but certainly not an additional 100 bucks.
I figured if ATT allows it to be unlocked that they might help.
since they are stopping the 3rd unlock on a reason that isn't valid.

Prices are in the $30-$50 range now.

I have a sealed iPhone 6 Plus that I received from upgrading one of my family lines. My mom is planning to keep her old phone and have me sell her new iPhone 6 Plus. How do I go about unlocking it through swiftunlocks.com?
1. Can I keep the iPhone sealed throughout the process?
2. It is an ATT iPhone, so when I sell "sealed"/"unlocked", can any other carrier use it?

Thank you

You can sell it as "Factory Unlocked" as it will work on All carriers once its unlocked.

But do make sure you / your mom continue to pay your bill(s) so that the phone does not become blacklisted due to any unpaid bills as it will stay dependent on your account until the contract / next agreement (which ever one you got it on) is paid in full.

Also you can check out Chronicunlocks and Samunlocks as they also provide reliable unlock services.

First I would recommend you try doing the unlock your self on the AT&T portal by googling "AT&T Device unlock" its the first AT&T link.

Can anyone recommend a iPhone 6 AT&T unlock service. I tried 'www.officialiphoneunlock.co.uk', they said the phone had been unlocked but a T-Mobile sim wont work. Guess its a scam.

The phone would still obviously be on contract since the iPhone 6 is brand new.

Any suggests on a service that can perform an unlock would be greatly appreciated...I move to Berlin next month and it would be nice to have an unlocked phone ready.

Thank You in Advance...!
