Hello, today my 2017 non Touch Bar Mac was in a accident and fell on a concrete floor basically the damage is to the lower top part of the Mac and the top part. I wanted to know if it is even financially a smart idea to replace these parts and where could I even get genuine parts? P.s. I added the photos of damage for better understanding of the damage.

But is this covered by the warranty and not the additional apple insurance because I don't have that insurance .

No, it wouldn’t be covered under the circumstances.

I recommend taking it to the apple store for an estimate. Maybe they can give you a lower repair price.

That's what was my first thought because as I understand if I would to do the repair myself or do it in a non apple repair shop I would lose the warranty and that could be useful in the future. Thanks for the advice tho :)

I was talking home insurance, presumably you have some.

top and bottom covers glued in batteries new screens as the top cover is all bonded maybe a new keyboard etc will probably push the repair price into the buy a new Mac category. You can get the bits on eBay hope for the best and try it yourself but this is what all that money you spend on contents insurance is for.
