Lost Foxconn iPhone May Have Been Source of Teardrop iPhone 5 Case Designs

Yeah! That (roughly) 3 or 4mm difference from one side to the other would be REALLY bothersome!
Just please..... let it have a bigger screen... puh puh plz. An A5 processor is a given, we can comfortably assume it'll have 1GB Ram and a 8MP camera. I don't care if its tear dropped shaped or keeps the iPhone 4 design. Im just hoping the bigger screen rumors are true. After playing Angry Birds on my Mac n then trying to play it on my tiny iPhone screen I just couldn't take it... lol I need a bigger screen. A 4" screen would be glorious but anything bigger than 3.5 screen will be well appreciated.
I guarantee you that phone was measured to make the cases and then destroyed. No one would leave evidence like that hanging around for police or private investigators to find later on. The cases themselves are circumstantial, they could claim they got the information 3rd hand. But to have the physical device would be the smoking gun.

A Chinees distributor sent us some Cover samples for the new iPhone 5, plus some other accessory. Some buttons have changed place and it is a bit wider then the 3Gs and a LOT thinner. And the teardrop design is also what this case/cover seems to have.

That had me worried for a while. But now that I think about it... it makes sense. iPhone 5 (or 4S) is the new iPhone, and the iPhone 4 will be pushed back, as with all previous releases. Unless, they do end up surprising us with both 5 + 4S.
This story also seems to fall in line with what could have happened. Perhaps, to avoid jail terms or the wrath of Apple, they didn't post pictures of the prototype online, but instead (and quite smartly), made cases for it. But if this is indeed what happened, then that's not the source of confidence I was hoping case makers would have about the 5's design.
How can anyone say they absolutely want the iPhone 5 when nobody outside of Apple even knows IF they will release it (vs 4S), let alone what features it offers.
It is like saying you hate the taste of some type of food when you have never even tasted it.
I for one am excited about iOS 5, I just hope the Voice features work with the iPhone 4 and don't require new hardware.
He COULD be hinting at the fact that the iPhone 5 is "new" and the iPhone 4S is "not new"..."one new"
Guess we'll know in a week what the heck is going on. All I know is they should have done this in June/July because now what, we're on a fall schedule? Or is iPhone 6 coming in June? I don't like it either way. haha.

Do you really think an iPhone 4 chassis packed with an 8MP camera, 1 gig of RAM, and a brand spanking new A5 chip is going to be CHEAP???

The 1 cannot represent one new iphone. Every year Apple releases 2 NEW iphones:
1 - The NEW 8GB current generation.
2 - The NEW 16, 32GB next generation.
Of course the majority of us want a larger screen. But EVERYONE wants to be able to say "I told you so."
*Everything depends on how we define "NEW."

Im sorry, but you might be disappointed. According to that it will require and A5 and 1GB RAM.

Exactly!!! Nobody knows if we will have a 4S or a 5 or both AND ON TOP OF THAT, nobody knows for sure the specs of either!
How can anybody say they don't want a 4S?!?
