I would suggest to anybody that finding a cheap used phone on say Creigslist is a VG idea lots of old phones under the $50 mark just make sure it works with your carrier. this is one thing superior about carriers that use sims. take yours out pop it in the other phone. then if you drop your phone no worries!
`

just one of the many things i've learned from this forum! i never knew you could change the sim cards back and forth between phones! i just assumed our old phones were junk.... now i'll hold on to my LG and if going someplace messy.... i'll charge it up ahead of time and transfer the sim card!

to the OP..... i wouldn't have (still don't) consider six flags, disneyland, etc messy places and i would have taken my iphone along with me, too! of coarse... i'd probably also be a geek with a little fanny pack cuz i hate carrying a purse all day long in places like that! (i also like the idea of putting it in a plastic baggie!! i'll be using that little tip, too!)

Just make sure you seal the baggie TIGHT. Otherwise the river water goes in and doesn't come out and then your sandwich tastes like river.

Why don;t you just rent a locker for a dollar and put all your stuff in there.. Why risk losing or damaging your phone...

Because we all know that AT&T sponsors those lockers and no on here wants to give them another dollar ;) (sarcasm for those unable to tell)

me and my friends who went to cedar point had this <sarcasm> crazy </sarcasm> idea to bring a backpack with this new thing called a zipper. wild technology i tell ya. you can open it up to put stuff in. but the weirder part is when you want stuff, it can be unzipped to take things out.
