Lost (TV show)

I hope not. Seriously I doubt it.. it seems most of what they've done so far had a point.. sure a convoluted one, but a point none-the-less. They COULDN'T just be using her back story as filler for an otherwise skinny episode, could they? Could they? 🙁

I actually really like that one. The whole leaving the flashback connections undiscoverd didn't sit well with me. I guess they really can kill of Shannon for good now (if the writers want). I definetly think there'll be some sort of Jack having to choose between Sawyer and Shannon though, it's just the kind of stuff they'd throw in.

i don't have a tape, so I can't check, but I don't think they actually show that the two groups meet.
so there is also the possibility (admittedly not very likely) that the two events (Ana shooting and Shannon getting wounded) are simultaneous but unrelated.
In support of this view, it seems that the tailers group should take more than one day to reach the swan station group or they would have likely met already.
Also, shannon and sahid where yelling, but the tailers didn't hear them (just the whispers) and i'd guess mike would be responsive to hearing shout "walt".
As far as sahid and walt, it was purposely ambiguous, so it could be either way

We do see the two groups together. Ana is holding the gun with that "Oh ****" look on her face, and Sayid is looking just SO mad at her. Also, Jin seems to recognise Sayid.. They definately meet.

ok, i that case I stand corrected, I remembered them alternating the shot from one group to the other, but without them necessarily being in the same frame/situation. as i said, i don't have a tape so I couldn't check.

Well, you could always download it from ITMS 😉

Personally, I thought it was a pretty good episode. I'm looking forward to learning more about these Others, as well as what happens when the two "sections" meet. It may help that the Rose and Bernard will reunite, which could be used to bring the two sides together.

Nothing specific about "Who" got killed off unless you actually clicked on the link. Also as I recall the previews never said that someone would die, just that they would be "Lost" forever. (The girl that went missing climbing the hill?)

As others have stated I think we are going to see Jack trying to deal with both Sawyer and Shannon and possibly having to make a decision. What I want to see is Jack stating something along the lines of "I wish I had something I could give them for pain" and then see Charlie or Locke whip out the heroin...

The headline last night read: Spoiled Daddy's Girl Gets Killed on 'Lost'. <-- had to search my browser history.

I guess AP News/Yahoo got a lot of slack from Tivo users about revealing the spoiler inside the headline. Such idiot news writers. People, send hate mail to FRAZIER MOORE. 😛
 
i finally got around to watching the latest episode and it was brilliant!

how freaky is walt - watching it in a darkened room makes it so much more scary!!

and that new woman (ana i think) is SOOOOOOOO annoying!

Well I think "lost" forever sounds better than, "someone is going to die, watch lost tonight" I"m pretty sure if she isn't died yet, she will.

Or it could just be that "lost forever" means that the person makes a commitment of some sort to stay on the island. 🙂

I thought I was the only one who thought that. I find her neither hot, nor compelling. I'm wondering what the back story will show to give us a reason why she's so bossy?

Finally to clarify that Sayid and Ana saw each other, having rewatched, it didn't show ti VERY clearly, but it did show Ana's hand, with the gun in, in the same frame as Sayid.. here ya go.

nice. I would concur that it doesn't look like a gunshot wound.
 
No problem. The first one is a screenshot from me, but second I stole from iLounge, where I saw it first. And he saw it somewhere else first. 😛
 
I am not a doctor/medic/soldier/thug/gangsta, nor do I play one on TV, but to me, that does not look like a GSW either.
 
Doesn't look like a GSW to me either, more of a slash or stab.

I'm sticking to the theory that Ana shot at an other (maybe even Walt?), who had slashed Shannon.

Also, I like that possible prediction that Jack will have to choose between Shannon and Sawyer a lot as well. I'm assuming that Sayid/Shannon and the other survivors are a few hours hike away from the main survivors (using Shannon/Sayid's hike as a reference)... makes that scenario more likely in my opinion.
 
I don't think Jack will have to choose, as I don't think it's possible to save Shannon's life. That wound looks like the equivalent of a disembowling or a gut shot. Something that is VERY hard to survive if you're in the vicinity of a modern medical facility. If you're lost on a strange island.... toast.

Totally agreed.. I am of the opinion Sawyer looks pretty dead too..
