Having upgraded from a 16GB iPhone 6 Plus, I am absolutely blown away by the performance and quality of the 13 Pro Max.

I’m very happy with my upgrade. Got mine in graphite 128GB.
WOW! I give you props I sold my 12 pro Max a week before getting the 13 pro Max and for a week I had the SE 64GB and I was going crazy with the amount of storage I had. I didn't have space for anything.

Oh wow. Do you normally get a 256 or 512?

I am also really enjoying my silver 128 GB 13 Pro Max. I upgraded from a 64 GB iPhone 6S+. The 13 Prp Max is an amazing piece of kit. I got my on 9/24. Charged it up to 100% around 7:30pm. I have been using it a lot to make phone call, surf internet, watch videos, texting, etc. it is now 12:22 am Sunday morning and I still have 56% battery left. The battery life is insanely good on this phone. It will be interesting to see how the battery life after Apple fixes the core animations bug in iOS 15.

Went to Apple store today to have my X battery replaced and the new 13 Pro and Pro Max are sweet. Played around for awhile with both and it was quite tempting to upgrade..

I’m on an iPhone X right now and battery health is horrendous (76%). Debating between replacing battery or going for 13PM.

Has replacing the battery made much difference?

It’s funny because even when it was released in 2014, 16GB was an absolute joke.

For you (obviously), for some (likely). Not all (number of sales for the model suggest).

For those who use a phone for a phone and not much else, or little else, 16 GB could be usable. Not everyone expects a teaspoon to serve all purposes.

If you have an iPhone 8, X, or older, it’s time to upgrade

Why, exactly?

I have a 7 and an 8 in the family. Both devices will support iOS 15, and both are working perfectly for what we use the devices for. Why might we upgrade when there is no need?

iOS 15 runs and looks the same way right from the smallest to the largest devices. In fact, for iPads, Apple does not even bother to give the the supposed iPadOS a fitting Home Screen that takes advantage of the space (@BreakingKayfabe, that is what a joke really is.) Sure, iPadOS gets multitasking. But it should always have come with a fitting Home Screen, and it still does not. There are speed improvements (that I do not need in the 7 and 8 because of my use) and there are features such as Live Text and some more that I would like to have. Needed? No. Time to upgrade? Not this year.

Next year, now that is another matter altogether. iPhone 7 would likely not get iOS 16, iPhone 8 just might. That is when I begin to feel it is now 'time' to upgrade.

Bought my first Max size iPhone on Friday, usually has the Pro size. Loving the extra screen size. The phone does feel quite heavy but I’m gradually getting used to it now and I’m sure it’ll feel normal to me soon enough. The 120hz screen is fantastic, no more judder effect when scrolling.
