I also use backgrounder and only let about six apps run in the background. Personally I didn't like the task switcher being clogged up with every single app I've ever opened! Honestly that was the stupidest thing Apple ever did.

If they just had he apps down there that were actually suspended that would be fine. That's where removed recents really comes into play.

There really is only a few apps that truly need to be suspended.
Of course this is only my opinion and the beauty about jailbreak your phone is that you can do any thing you want!

I agree. Look at this post to see how I setup Backgrounder:

Actually I already did see your post and that is exactly how I have mine set up. Thanks!

Works like a charm and I agree there are very few apps that truly need to be backgrounded.

Yup.

By the way, I enabled Multitasking again. Like others have said, apps that are already stored in the memory open quicker. Also, you can't have rotation lock without multitasking enabled and I want rotation lock.

Awesome so you finally admitted you were wrong

The original "differences" noted by the OP where clearly in his head, the rest of the forum members gave their opinion. After the delusion wore off OP realized he was wrong, and now we can all live happily.

And yet no one posted to it in 7 hours. It was going away and you decide to being it back just to rub it in the OP's face and now you want it closed. Grow up and let it fall away as it should.

I don't believe I was "wrong" about any of the points I made. They were all true to my experiences.

However, like I stated, I turned it back on for the faster launch times and rotation lock only.

Read my original post again. I *was* happy with multitasking off, but hey, I changed my mind and I may change my mind again. Who knows.

Now you know the benefits of both 'multitasking on' and 'multitasking off'.

I think the coolest part is being jailbroken where *I* can decide what I want to do with *my* iPhone. If I want multitasking on, I turn it on and so forth.

Good day sir.

I figured out why there is a short delay when going to the hole screen. Its because the OS is waiting to see if you press the home button again for a double-click.

I'm smart :D

this is exactly why i did it as well. ive had my free mem in the status bar before, and it gets dwindled down to nothing. i open sbsettings/processes and theres a long list of ever app ive opened sitting there eating available memory.

i can only assume it has something to do with battery life as well. i dont have proof for it, but i wouldnt be surprised. i charged my phone last night. with less than an hour of use and 9hrs standby, the battery was down to 72%.
