No the final word is the law and terms of the contract which have not changed for me. Why is everyone defending AT&T? Especially when they're wrong.

I have a case to sue if they throttle me at 20gb/mo. I have unlimited and am entitled to what I paid for. If they do send a message about anything I'll simply have them overturn it.

Under a cap plan with $10/gb overages 20gb would equal $200 a month. Screw that! But I'm sure they would gladly take my overage money and not throttle that.
You are either thick or just totally naive. Look what they did with 'unlimited' data on smart phones. They now get throttled. It is the classic case of the teacher punishing the whole class for one persons actions. It is the asshats that use LTE when they have wifi at their disposal 'just because'. In principal we all agree with you (I think), those of us who signed up for unlimited data should get just that, no matter how much it is. The reality of it is very different - and the fact that you can't see that is why you are being targeted here.
If they ever try to throttle me, I will only accept 3G speeds or greater. That's what I pay for.
Good luck with that.
