How have any of you managed to sell your iPad with all these lowballers on there?
All I am getting is $300-$350 offers, which i just ignore

my feeling is that an electronic device loses 20% of its value the second you open the box. That means warranty doesn't transfer and you give up your right to return.
Add that its a year old with new announcements around the corner, I'd say 350 is MORE than fair.
I'd say that $350 is a good price. How is that a low ball for a used item that originally cost $499?![]()

now that the 1 yr Apple Waranty is completely transferable that's total BS. Apple products retain 80% of original value if kept in good to excellent condition. I sold 2 unlocked 16gb 3GS's after the iPhone 4 release and I got almost $400 for each of them.
You're selling a 16GB wifi iPad, right? The one in your sig?

Well when it includes the apple case+camera kit, I think that's pretty low.

Pretty much a buyer's market right now with a lot of people trying to unload and get ready for the announcements next week. The market is being flooded and that will always bring costs down some.
I don't know why someone would pay you that much for a 3GS when the iphone 4 came out in the first place. You got extremely lucky. They were worth about $200-$250 at that point. You have to consider that a phone albeit smaller is WAYYY more of an asset than an ipad. Seriously, an ipad is basically a luxury item-no matter what need you see for it. The iphone is still more valuable to most people.
With an iphone I can tether (don't need to get a 3g connection on the ipad either), talk on the phone without an internet connection, run apps, surf the web, do business on the go (even in another country), etc. Essentially all the things an ipad can do with slightly more versatility.
If someone is offering you $350 I'd take it and run because I don't think at this point anybody should be paying more than $300 for a used 16gb wifi ipad. Sorry.
